Now stayed in all the newer pavilions (since 2011), and this stay maintained the standard. Staff are terrific and breakfast was superb. Some people may find the background music intrusive at 9am, but of 2 mornings the second produced the better music mix - mellow...More

Nothing bad about this place...art is personal...just bypass anything you don't like or find offensive. Give yourself a few hours to see everything....we ran out of time. Plenty of free parking if driving in to venue. Thanks to David Walsh and his bottomless pockets.

About
Description
MONA Pavilions. The eight MONA pavilions overlook the Derwent River and feature artwork from the MONA collection. Four are named for architects who have influenced Australia's architectural landscape: Roy More (Grounds), Robin (Boyd), Esmond (Dorney) and Walter (Burley Griffin). The original four pavilions: Arthur (Boyd), Brett (Whiteley), Charles (Blackman) and Sidney (Nolan), have been completely refurbished. All have access to the heated infinity lap pool, sauna and gymnasium. Mona - the gallery and all site facilities are closed on Tuesdays. The Pavilions are open with breakfast still served and in room food and beverage option available for house guests. Less
