I can't believe how much we did in only a week. Under the expert instruction of the vivacious Chef Paula we created delicious menus highlighting the fresh produce and cuisine of Tuscany. Dinners each evening were a celebration of our efforts and lasted late into...More
We recently did the three day Italian cooking course at Torre del Tartufo and it was one of the best experiences I have had on my overseas travels.
From the very first email contact with Lena, the service we received was exceptional. Everyone we had...More
This place is simply a dream. The villa's mountain setting is spectacular, the rooms are utterly charming, and the pool was the prettiest I have ever seen. And then there was the cooking school, which was so much fun. Even though I am a pretty...More
This is a must for your bucket list!! I found this experience while googling for cooking vacations in Tuscany and absolutely everything exceeded my expectations! The pictures online do not do justice for how beautiful it is in person. I was a solo traveler for...More
This villa and the Tuscookany classes is one of my favorite travel experiences to date. We arranged our entire Italian holiday around this portion of the trip. In the planning stages I was concerned it was too pricey. Boy was I wrong. Accommodations superior. Chef...More

Thank you for your interest in our Tuscookany courses. Most participants are amateur cook lovers who enjoy cooking together and enjoying what they have made in good company with great wine. The level of expertise is not that important we have had different levels from no experience to chefs, its more about the total experience of cooking together and having fun doing it. We do have singles attending all the courses in the year. Its generally a mix of couples, singles, and friends traveling together. Age is between 25 and 65 generally. Those guests who choose the three day course are more pressurised for time and cannot spare a week, we cover the key basics (pasta and pizza) and you prepare two four course dinners. For the full week its more elaborate as its four lessons instead of two. Both Casa Ombuto and Torre del Tartufo offer three day courses and the locations are equally great. We look forward to welcoming you in Tuscany!
