It is a very rare place where you can have all needed in Russian hotel.
There are a number of renovated rooms available, so ask reception to get you a proper room.
I stayed a long time, over six months and tested reasonable number of rooms. I had very good experience with restaurant and gym.
Fresh new gym was helping to keep up with physical activities and nice European food helped spent evenings in such Northern place like that.
Thanks to every person that was treated me like a king there.

We stayed here for one night and had a good stay. The rooms are clean and there is free coffee, tea and wifi. Breakfast was included. Breakfast was okay. Staff didn't speak English so much but they were friendly. The hotel has a great location.

We were given the most damaged room, which is 2 times smaller than the previous one and does not meet the agreed standards, but costs the same. And they say. There are no other rooms available. The staff and service are disgusting, I will not come back here again!!!!!!!!!!! ! HORROR, DIRT AND DISGUST!!!!

Stayed here for 2 weeks, the hotel is well setup, central to everything, great restaurant and friendly, helpful staff.
The Reception / Administration manager i think her name is Dayra? She is a credit to any business, she did everything and more to make sure everything was perfect.

No help with outside calls. Can not pay for restaurant on Hotel account. ( Must have a cash flow problem.

We are constantly trying to do our best to give our guests a pleasant and smooth stay in Severnaya Hotel. Of course, we have fixed all the faults you mentioned about the room. We have planned redecoration of all room fund with partial replacement of furniture for May 2017. Also curtains will be replaced with 100% black-out curtains. Please accept my apologies for inconvenience. Furthermore, please be informed that your comments concerning our restaurant services have been forwarded to our Food & Beverages Management and they are taken into account to help us improving our services in the future. Overall experience with this hotel was great. Rooms are fine, although some furniture looks worn out a little. Great thing about this hotel - they serve herring for breakfast!
The only thing that disappointed me was thickness of the curtains. Light curtains in a place where sun is shining all night during summer is not a good idea, especially if you have a room with windows on the north side.
