We were here, all 3 families in total - 6 adults 5 kids. The drive up to the cottage was a little frightening, I think our little Toyota Prius barely made it thru about 30 minutes of uncovered roads. Perhaps a bigger car would be more re-assuring. Google Maps will get you here, but this is not a place you... More

Tony and I are so pleased your stay in Windmill was relaxing and peaceful. King Parrot offers our guests the opportunity to explore the incredibly beautiful scenery or simply rest and recharge the batteries. The tranquility sets the scene for rejuvenation and yet loads of activities to do that stimulate the senses. The kangaroos wallabies and kookaburras and other birds... More

This Pet friendly place is clean and sweet. This accommodation is set in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views over a valley. We have enjoyed spending time in the spa outdoors beneath gorgeous gum trees and the wood fire heater is a beautiful and warm treat. Everything you need is here and we could bring our furry friends who have... More

A stunning location to spend a relaxing weekend with friends. We stayed in the Lodge and Hall, all beds were comfortable, warm and with good pillows , the kitchen, lounge and verandah (had plenty of seats, BBQ) were all well appointed, and very clean. It's a must to bring your binoculars to look at the Kangaroos and bird life. The... More

We have been here 3-4 times a year for the last few years and is the best place to get away from civilization. Peace and quiet is just the start. The spa is the greatest thing in winter and secluded from view. The log fire is nearly always on and our cats are almost always happy to lounge next to... More

Nestled in the foothills of the Otway Ranges; less than 1 1/2 hours drive from the Westgate Bridge, and only 20 minutes from Lorne, King Parrot Cottages offer the perfect holiday retreat for couples, families and large groups. Six architect-designed, fully self-contained, one to four bedroom cottages can accommodate from one couple to 14 people. Each offers comfort, character and privacy with stunning valley views.
