Booked this hotel as it is essentially the only hotel within walking distance of Paoay Church. I wanted to get some perfect images of the church at sunrise and sunset - it was a great choice from that perspective. Hotel was not expecting us but seems that was an Internet problem. Hotel staff very friendly and cordial - had booked...

Such a nice place to stay when you travel to Ilocos Norte. Casa Dona Emilia is located where you can enjoy a 1km jog circling the town proper of Paoay. There, you can take a close look at the famous Paoay Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is also a convenience store nearby, so if you need to buy...

This bed and breakfast has the potential to be a real haven, but lacks real drive by its manager/owner. Sadly once you stay there you realise the real truth, toilets that don’t flush properly, stained bed sheets, have they never heard of bleach? Towels with holes, which I have never ever seen.... and I travel all over the world! and...

We stayed for overnight. We had the family room. 1double bed and 2 single beds and had to get additional bed as we are 5adults and 1baby. Beds and pillows are so comfy but so disappointed to get a 3inches thick matress smaller than the size of a single for our "extra bed" and paid 700pesos for it! I was...

Nice hotel that is 2 blocks from the church and across the street from the city services. Hotel has a outdoor swimming pool in the court yard. Seems that this hotel was a residence converted to a hotel then pool was added. Possibly a historical place. The floor tiles (reminds me of salcido tile from NewMexico) were nice. Check in...

The best place to stay in the area. Its just across the Unesco world heritage site Paoay Church. with its colonial spanish design, you will feel the heart and era of the province. Its a must stay. Just rent a scooter or a bike and go around town and savor one of the most peaceful place without the noise and...

If you wabt to stay in Paoay, this is the place. It is a few blocks away from the Paoay Church. there is a 711 next door (perfect to buy ice cream on a hot summer day!), the SPAM cafe and Herencia restaurant (home of the pakbet pizza) are nearby. Even the Orense Reef sand dunes are quite close. As...

Casa Doña Emilia is a stone throw away from the iconic Paoay church which is an advantage for its location but what we like most is how we were handled by the soft spoken receptionist named Swerte. From reservation, preparing our breakfast, updating us and our navigator she was there. Casa Doña Emilia a truly number 1 homey b&b in...

We had a hard time looking for this hotel because the address is wrong(from Agoda site). We went to Batac only to found out that it was only in Paoay (where we had our lunch). The receptionist explained to us that they already informed Agoda to change the address. The room was big for 6 adults and 1 kid. Clean...

This a small and simple inn yet cozy and very accommodating. The frontdesk officer, named Swerte (translated in English as "Lucky") was very hospitable and had a smile always. The breakfast was good. The ambiance was relaxing and fit for the rural place yet with some sophistication. The amenities are basic but just fine.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A very warm and comfortable home intended for the urban raised generation with ancestral roots firmly in place in the picturesque town of Paoay. The inn is a 2 storey building structure with 14 rooms and a suite and sits directly in front of the municipal town across the street. The massive 1600 Church of St Augustine is a world heritage site and stands just behind the main municipal building. The bed and breakfast idea was the first bold statement indicating progress and the rise to meet the challenge. All the beds are orthopedic standardps with luxurious duvets pillows and linen sheets guaranteed to provide only the best of sleep for the traveller. A hot and full ilocano breakfast generously provides a setting for a proper Ilocano welcome. Everything just falls naturally in place as your stay becomes more pleasant and memorable by the minute. ... more   less
