Located in a complex of apple orchards and vineyards this elegant B&B is a great location to explore the surrounding country side. The suites are large and in detached units of 2 so privacy and quiet are great. The french doors open onto decks located a few steps from the tidal flats and are set among beautiful plantings

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and it was a welcome respite in the middle of our three-week New Zealand trip. We were greeted by Margaret and Bruce, who own the property, and followed them to our accommodations -- the Te Koi villa. This is a very roomy house with two bedrooms, a full kitchen and beautiful... Our stay in Bronte Lodge had its ups and downs (mostly ups) and we stayed for 6 nights. Our Suite (Stafford Suite) was lovely, the views a delight, lots of daylight and spacious. The bathrooms were a little bit older although spacious (we were told by the manager they are being renovated later this year). The biggest let down for... More

Thank you very much for your review. Our Villa bathrooms and bedrooms have now been beautifully renovated. The Stafford villa now has a new mattress. The bed type is called a super king/twin which means the mattress zips together so it can be made up as a super king or twin. Sadly the zipper had broken and we didn't realize.... More

This property is one of the best places I've ever stayed. It's somewhat different to the usual spots I enjoy but this was perfect. It's a bed and breakfast on a stunning property surrounded by spectacular views nestled in an orchard. We stayed in one of the suites overlooking the beach. There was champagne, wine and freshly picked fruit waiting... More

We spent 3 nights at the Bronte Country Estate and completely enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean and spacious and had a spectacular view of Tasman Bay, from the Windows or from the back deck. We enjoyed several lovely sunrises from the comfort of our own room.). Beautiful floral arrangements with home-grown flowers from the garden were a nice... More

We came across this charming property when researching our itinerary for our first NZ fly drive (a thank you to Audley Travel). We'd originally intended to stay in Nelson but this proved to offer a more relaxing experience. BCE is about a twenty five minute drive from the centre of Nelson and as you turn off the busy S6 onto... More

Firstly a big thanks to Jordynne who greeted us on arrival and looked after us throughout our visit. We stayed in a self contained apartment fronting the bay. In addition to the high quality furnishings and fittings that would be expected there were some notable extra touches that we really appreciated. For example, the sunbeds in the garden, the local... We loved our stay at Bronte. Our rooms (living room, bedroom, large bathroom, separate toilet, small kitchen) were totally private and looked out on a fascinating estuary that was filled in at night and drained by morning. The sunrises and sunsets were especially beautiful, and it was so relaxing. Very close to the little town of Mapua which has some... More

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review, we are so happy you loved your stay with us at Bronte.
