Old historic building. Lounge and dining areas were well maintained. Room (in annex) was quiet, spacious and clean - modern facilities. Also enjoyed walks around the substantial grounds and sat outside on the picturesque terrace. Pool and sauna were again clean and modern for an old building. Evening meal was superb and breakfast more than substantial. All staff members were professional with their service but at the same time, friendly and engaging. Thanks to all - especially to Rosa, Chris, Stephen (night), Damion, Nick and the reception ladies too. A very enjoyable 24 hour stay!
We booked a superior room for two nights at a very high rate of £350 and were disappointed with the room we got. Small, tired, bathroom very basic. They gave us another room which was ok but not really better. The bath gel was empty (!). But the worst was breakfast. Never have I experienced such an odd breakfast. Chips and tomato sauce and cheap serials on the buffet and NOTHING else. No fruit, no cheeses, no pastries or bread. My husband was horrified so we ordered him porridge. It was RAW and made with water when we asked for milk made porridge. I ordered haddock and eggs. Bland and not even a garnish. Breakfast staff were very untrained. On the positive aide the grounds are beautiful as is the building facade but the inside needs serious upgrading for such an expensive place. Dinner was quite good but the dining room is so tired! We left after breakfast and cancelled the second night.…
Superb Sunday Lunch! A fabulous visit to this beautiful hotel, the food was amazing, every course spot on with desserts to die for! Rosa was so friendly and welcoming and really made our visit special. We shall definitely be back! Had a lovely walk around the grounds afterwards, this really is a gorgeous hotel, would highly recommend
Wonderful country hotel near Stratford upon Avon. Stayed here for a business conference and everything was lovely. Food & staff were fantastic. Room was clean and the grounds are stunning. Didn't have the opportunity to visit the spa, so will be up for a repeat visit.
We booked afternoon tea for a birthday celebration in March. Our welcome on arrival was very polite and friendly. The staff looking after us during afternoon tea were very attentive. They had fixed a helium birthday confetti balloon to my chair which was a lovely touch. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were tasty except the lemon cake. This tasted really odd and processed but maybe just not to our liking. It was a lovely sunny day so to be able to have a drink outside afterwards and a walk round the grounds made it a very pleasant afternoon.
We spent 3 nights here and everything was spot on. The room was large and very comfortable and all meals were well presented with good quality ingredients. The staff were all really friendly, but a special shout out for Ashley, Daimon and Ryan. We have booked again in a few months.
Stayed the night for my birthday.. The staff were brilliant.. My room, number 50 was bigger than some of the flats I've lived in and the views of the ruins and the grounds were stunning.. Dinner and breakfast were equally as good.. We pretty much had the pool, sauna ect to ourselves.. Ettington park hotel is a atmospheric hotel steeped in history..If you're thinking about going just do yourself a favour and go! We will be returning.
Just spent the weekend here acting in a Killing Game murder mystery and the staff were so friendly, helpful and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble. I'd like to especially mention Hannah, Megen and also Ashley the manager for their helpfulness and overall service. The event ran smoothly with the guests thoroughly enjoying themselves!
Fantastic weekend with The Killing Game murder mystery at Ettington Park. The hotel is top class with amazing grounds, spectacular dining rooms and very nice rooms. The staff are all superb and the spa facilities are really good. Breakfast was particularly good with waffles and everything you’d want for breakfast!! Couldn’t recommend this place enough - the killing game murder mystery was amazing too. Really fun, very well organised and good for pretty much all ages and types of people.
Just spent a wonderful couple of nights here. Such a spoil. Beautiful building, stunning property and delicious food. Just what you want from a spoil. Met family for late morning tea and scones which were yummy! I can only imagine what afternoon high tea would be like. Defo worth a visit.
