Stayed here on the 13th Oct for one night. Nice welcome from John on arrival showed us to our room which was the Oak room which was £75 pound for the night very big and spacious. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was so peaceful. Breakfast was very good about 6 choices plus cereal, juice, toast, tea or... More

We stayed in the Poppy Suite, a set of rooms which include a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. What a gorgeous place! The house is totally remote which was just what we were looking for - could see the stars at night and total silence, which was bliss. We stayed for four nights, and are already looking at going back.... More

Stayed in this B&B after finding it on another review site. Wanted somewhere in a countryside setting withn striking distance of the coast. We stayed in the Oak room, which is apparently their largest room. It is in the old wing of the house, some 400 years old, with the exposed oak beams and sloping floor to give you the... More

We had a warm welcome from John at Hill Farm House. The Oak Room is beautiful, and the whole house has been decorated stylishly. The bed was very comfortable, and tea, coffee, toiletries etc are all provided so you feel very at home. To top it all, the breakfast is second to none with great quality produce and perfectly cooked... More

My husband and I have just returned from a one-night stay at Hill Farm House. We stayed in the large room which had chunky, old beams and a really uneven floor which made you feel like you had had a couple of glasses of wine! John was very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had piping hot... More

It's way off the beaten track, so not somewhere you'll stumble across by accident. Hunt it out, and you won't regret it. John is warm and attentive, even hunting out some cold remedy for my sniffling partner. His home is beautifully finished. He hasn't cut corners - everywhere you look is well styled and high quality. We stayed in the... More

There is a selection of local pubs and restaurants offering good food and local beers. We are equi-distant from Ipswich, Bury St.Edmunds and Norwich, and only half an hour from Aldeburgh and Southwold.
