Booked this property for one night through Booking.Com. Received a confirmation from Booking.com a couple of months prior to our trip. As normal this was printed and presented upon arrival. We were then told that they had no booking in our name and that the accommodation was full! This despite our having a confirmed booking. Upon seeing the place we...

This was our 3rd time staying here. They upgraded up to a 3 bedroom house at the back of the bush. The house was lovely for 2 couples travelling. It was really clean and had everything needed including a fire. The house has a lot of windows and stone floor so it was cold in the mornings. Fire pit outside...

I wanted a place where it could accommodate all 12 members of my immediate family. So as I searched on the net, I came across The Hunter Valley Retreat which could accommodate all of us in 1 Villa. Booked the Villa for 2 nights this Easter long weekend. Our family loved the Villa and the property itself. very peaceful, clean...

We stayed for two nights midweek. It was lovely, beautiful, peaceful and not crowded. We had an apartment, it had a good size lounge/dining area with comfortable seating, microwave, sink, utensils and cutlery. The bedroom was big with lots of storage with a king size bed. We liked the fact the shower, vanity and toilet were all separate, there were...

Okay place to stay for tranquil getaway. Basic accommodation. Restaurant lacks atmosphere but does deliver good food. Consider the distance to nearest town and wineries before deciding to stay at this venue if those things are on your agenda. Staff friendly.

This is our second visit to this beautiful place. Yes it is a short drive to get to the wineries, but a beautiful drive through the local country side and towns. The rooms are extremely comfy, clean and cosy. They have DVDs you can hire for a night time. The breakfast is great with so many different types of teas,...

Amazing amazing Amazing!!!! We loved it my 7month old and my fur baby had so much fun. Perfect for families and couples and the staff are extremely friendly. When we arrived we were also given a list of pet friendly wineries and restaurants which was extremely helpful. Thanks for such a fun time :)

Room was cosy. Bed was comfy. No microwave. Ceiling fan in the room which was a blessing. Ladies were very friendly and offered games and dvds for your stay. Restaurant was still opened when we arrived the food was like pub food at restaurant prices and they only had a choice of 4 mains. The garlic bread was average. The...

Thank you for sharing your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I'll pass on the feedback about your experience with the Garlic Bread. Tim our chef takes a lot of pride in his food so would want to hear about that.

Our room was a king size bed, 1 bedroom with a side table, bed and slate floor and separate bathroom off to the side. Clean but basic. Bed was comfortable and had a ceiling fan which would be great at any other time of year but not a 40 degree summer day. Took our two dogs as it is pet...
