Me and my husband really had fun visiting this place. The traditional houses as hotel accommodation is the centerpiece of this private beach resort in Bagac, Bataan. The place was so relaxing. As expected, the staffs were very accommodating. We considered this as a romantic place, which is perfect for couples to celebrate their anniversaries. They also have a swimming...

Our company paid almost 2.2million pesos for a 3d2n stay of 200 employees. It was the worst service we've ever had. Las Casas is probably doing well for day trippers and short family vacations but it is a terrible place for corporate bookings. A nightmare actually. Yes it is a very beautiful place. I am still totally in awe of...

We went on a day tour only. Here are my impartial comments: Place - unique, gorgeous, if your into historical Spanish colonial period houses and structures this is for you. It's like being in a movie set only real, immense and close to authentic as can be. Its at least 2 hours away from Manila without traffic. Price - fee...

Loved Las Casas when we initially went on a day tour so I brought my family for an overnight stay. Room amenities are nice. They need to be maintained well. The tour is very informative and entertaining. Food is quite pricey, unfortunately, does not meet our expectations.

It was a lovely experience! You wouldn't think a place like this exists in the Philippines. There's so much history and culture in the architecture of the restored houses and buildings coming from all over the country that were so tastefully laid out in one place. Walking around the property may be compared to walking around Europe. Just couldn't take...

Food is very very pricey but taste is not exceptional. Servings is not good for sharing. Staff in resto needs more training. Please improve quality on food. Room price should have included buffet breakfast. Our stay would have been great if the food was exceptional.

I very much wanted to give Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar higher ratings. However I think that it suffers from wanting to be to be too many things to all possible visitors . . . a cultural park, a B&B experience, restaurants to match, plus a beachfront resort. The result is a dissonant melange of offerings with a loss of...

Brought balikbayans who haven't been back in PH for more than 20 years. - smooth 3hr drive from Manila - rough road to Las Casas was... rough - hassle free registration because we made reservations - rides (jeep, calesa, tram) inside the property are very bumpy, not recommended for pregnant - walks and climbing of stairs not elderly friendly -...

I and my family went to Las Casas for a day tour to check if its really worth it. We were brought back in time and my children also learned about history. They also appreciated the sungka game in the game room while I and my husband play dart. Overall, we decided to come back again but will make it...

Being a child of the 80s and the son of a history buff who actually LIVED through some of those moments in history it was a very different experience seeing it with your own eyes. I understood now the time that my father lived through. The place is constantly being developed so expect future improvements. These were just some of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
