I am reviewing The Pavana as a hotel, as I was not there for any of the Yoga or detox programs the place is known for. This property is located in an idyllic rural area of Mae Rim, about 45 minutes for Chiangmai city. While the outside areas are visually very captivating and resplendent with lush greenery, the accommodations, ranging...

The place is beautiful, the rooms spacious n the food is very good. Most of the greens n fruits are from their own garden n they even have their own dragon fruit bread. The service is very good. All the staff from housekeeping to the farmers n gardeners are so helpful n always with a smile. They walk the extra...

I held a 6-day yoga retreat at The Pavana and was welcomed by the most hospitable staff, who accommodated my and my guests' every request. They made sure buggies were ready to take us up to the Cloud 9 Sala, which can be a climb especially when the weather is not too forgiving, and accommodated our food preferences. In the...

Well built and well maintained resort outside Chiang Mai Town. Has good facilities for Yoga meditation and a nice swimming pool. Food was good at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice landscape and garden.

I spent nine days at the resort (called Pavana) on a fasting and detox programme. The programme is very well supported by the welcoming and excellent staff, who explain everything and keep the schedule moving along. The experience was a lot easier than I expected and I've come out of it feeling amazing. The accommodations are excellent, much nicer than...

I went to Pavana for detox for its peaceful environment and for a change from Phuket and Samui. I was somehow disappointed as while the hotel environment is nice, it has attracted mass tour groups and for the 5 days I stayed, except for day 1, I Hv to put nup with unruly loud tourists turning the quiet environment into...

I did the detox fasting program at the resort in February and loved it. The grounds are very well looked after, the rooms are clean and the additional activities the resort offers are great. It is a lovely place to get away from the city life and be close to nature. If this is not what you are looking for...

This hotel was a great base for the FreshStart Bootcamp I attended in December 2016. It is about an hour away from Chiang Mai city and a quiet place. However most people come here for the detox programmes and of course the bootcamp. There are also villas here that you can buy or rent long-term. My experiences are as follows:...

Out of the way, (we were heading north and wanted to stay out of town so it suited us) The buildings are dated, the new owner gave rooms a fresh coat of paint, but that's about it for "renovations". Very basic bathroom, OK swimming pool (too cold to swim in). Nothing really terrible - no springs poking through a mattress...

We are staying here for 11 days on our Fresh Start Boot Camp. It is a truly beautiful and relaxing place. We have a Lanna Villa which is two floors. One bedroom, bathroom and dressing area upstairs with a huge living area, kitchen area and WC downstairs. It is very comfortable and the bed is amazing. It is situated in...
