We stayed here for two nights. Although the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the decor and maintenance of the hotel are sub par. Sur, according to most itineraries, serves as a base to get to sights (Wadis Tiwi, bani Khaled, or Shab) so we didn’t plan on spending that much time in the hotel anyway. Even so, with dirty carpets, sparse furniture and a kitchen without pots or pans, bowls, or an actual cooking range, a TV that doesn’t work (we got the 1 bedroom apartment), insects coming out of the drain in the shower, an AC that emitted a bad smell when turned on, I would steer clear of this hotel under any circumstances. It seems the management doesn’t really give any thought to the guest experience here, with bare minimum effort put into calling it a hotel room (or apartment). Most services being provided at the neighboring hotel (Sur Grand) anyway. …

l'accueil sympathique, la très grande suite avec 2 chambres, 2 salles de bains, 1 cuisine et 1 salon. le wifi gratuit, le parking. la possibilité de prendre le petit dejeuner dans l'hotel d'à coté pour quelques rials. la propreté et le confort de la literie. la proximité de la plage. la piscine de l'hotel d'à coté même si nous n'en avons pas profité non même.
