I hoped not to have to write this review, but I do feel that the hotel profited from our misfortune. I had booked a room for the last 3 nights of our honeymoon trip, which cost us nearly £400. Very expensive, but a splash out. Unfortunately the booking was apparently non-refundable. Due to circumstances totally out of our control, we...

The luxury of a resort in the middle of island is definitely an amazing getaway for those is is looking for a short escape of bustling city life. If you stay at Palm villa, the highlight is it's jacuzzi overlooking the ocean.

My wife and I stayed at Gayana Eco Resort in September 2016 for our honeymoon. We were greeted at the airport by our private driver who we had organised through the hotel. We were offered a bottle of water each and then driven twenty minutes to the jetty. Here we paid our deposit and checked in for the boat transfer...

If relaxation and time out is what you need, I would recommend this resort. The resort itself need some refurbishment as it does look a little tired. That said, we had a wonderful couple of days. On arrival at the airport we were met by a representative who took us to Jesselton Pier to resort office. Our check in was...

Service staff and food at the Macac restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner were beyond excellent. I truly command the service staff - always such a pleasure. Room - very very nice, but a little more needs to be done in the way of cleanliness. Around the tea/coffee maker ( in the rainforest/ocean view chalets) there are food and drink...

We stayed in the Gayana Eco for 3 nights. We chose the Palm villa—I believe that’s the biggest and most expensive. The room was very nice but a very long walk….all the way at the end of the resort. Which would have been ok if we had not had small children. It was so hot with no shade on the...

Gayana is somewhere truly special. It is not only nestled in a stunning location with breath-taking views of both sea, mountain and jungle but it offers exceptional standards of cuisine, cocktails [prepared by winning cocktails flarers] and unfortgetable service. We stayed at Gayana for 9 nights for our honeymoon and relished every moment we were there. The Rooms We had...

From the moment the boat arrives at the island the beauty hits you. We stayed in the ocean view villas which are all very well equipped water villas. Step out of the villa doors to your own private sundeck which leads down to pristine waters full of colourful fish. Snokels and kayaks are free to use and there is also...

This place was fantastic! Stayed 5 nights, after doing a 10 days track through Sarawak. Stayed at the ocean villa, it was amazing! Food was great. Spa, was fantastic too. I did a cooking class with chef AZIZI, it was great. All stuff was super friendly and very helpful! I didn't want to leave this little paradise!
