Manukan Island is beautiful - but there is no getting away from the fact that during the day it is completely packed with tourists (mostly Chinese) in large groups that arrive in a constant stream of boats and fill the main beach and all the covered seating areas. After about 4pm they all leave and the Island becomes a peaceful,...

Beautiful accomodaation. Very clean, and beautifully designed. Excellent service and facilities. Even had a turndown service and left chocolates for us in the evening! And they left our aircon running for us so our room was cool when we returned in the evening! Thank you!!

We are a family of four (two little kids) who stayed here for several days in April. The setting is simply beautiful and so is the beach. The hillside villas are fabulous. It is a shame that we were outdoors all the time :) . We spent all our days on the beach and snorkeling. The staff at the hotel...

My wife and I stayed here for one night while we were staying in KK and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are amazing. They truly blew my breath away. Once all the island visitors go home about 4pm you literally have the island to yourself. You have access to your own...

Such a beautiful place and setting. We stayed in a beach view villa and gained great exercise walking up and down the many steps to get to the beach/restaurant/activities from our villa. Beautiful view over the beach and water over to Kota Kinabalu. The staff and wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather on the day of our...

It'd been a great experience from the time we landed on the island till we left. The view was great and the staffs there have been superb and really thoughtful. We were able to have an early check in and late check out At 3pm! There were only 2 rooms occupied during our stay, so the breakfast buffet was taken...

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort (2 days 1 night). We stayed in a one bedroom hill side beach villa which was fantastic. It was over 2 floors with lots of full length windows to capture the view on both levels. Balconies on both levels, lounge room, sink and small fridge and large bathroom area with spa...

My family and I stayed at the Manukan Island Resort from 11 Apr 2016 to 13 Apr 2016. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the double-room chalets which can accommodate 4 people. The room was rustic, but not very well maintained. The bathroom in the main bedroom (the en suite) did not have a working bidet....

Dear lachesis018, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. It is indeed disheartening that we have fallen short in so many ways during your stay with us. Your feedback on the chalet conditions and the quality of the restaurant operation has been addressed accordingly. We have also add in directional signages on a more appropriate route to the...

We just came back from Manukan island resort and we wish we could extend our stay. 😀We stayed in one of the renovated chalet on the Hill top .Our chalet was beautifully furnished and with all the important features of civilization. The funny thing is that when you stay surrounded by nature, you don't want to on your TV or...

We stayed in a hillside villa which had recently been renovated, it was spectacular and huge! We had a slight problem with the aircon (it started leaking) but the maintenance team fixed it immediately. Check-in and check-out were slow but I think we might have got a new staff member learning the ropes. The beach was beautiful and not overcrowded...
