We stayed 2 nights over the last bank holiday our room stank of sewerage so had to move rooms. They promised us money back for 1 night but we never received it. I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

Went to my niece's baby shower in Feb 2017. Staff (Paulo Teixeira and Jose Carlos cabrita and a new starter) were friendly, courteous and made whole celebration very enjoyable.
Room was tastefully decorated.
very very low standard, grumpy staff, Wi-Fi keeps dropping every few minutes, dirty & small rooms, food horrible- raw ribs and the worst burger I've ever got.
I strongly recommend to stay away- possible the worst hotel in the UK
