For the price you can't expect perfection. The hotel has an amazing location for the trains and getting to Windsor / London on a budget. It needs an upgrade as it is dated but it's clean, tidy, good staff. It's good value for the price.

We had the mispleasure of staying here last weekend for two nights. We were put up in one of the 'best rooms' 231 and on first impressions thought it ok. On closer inspection the room is old, dirty (cob webs) and the bathroom in a dire need of refurbishment as is most of the hotel. My partner cut her hand...

Do not be fooled by the look of the restaurant / bar, The hotel rooms are very run down and the house keeping is very poor indeed. Below is a list of problems I had with the hotel; No hot water for the entirety of my stay in the hotel (1 night) Big long hairs on the tiles in the...

Arrived at 6.30pm. Given the key to an 'Executive' room. En rout to the room it was clear the Hotel was in a run down condition. Our room was small to say the least. Thank goodness we had chosen an 'Executive' room. First impression was the room was shabby and dusty. On checking the pillows two of which were so...

Ok for a cheap stay close to Windsor. Comfortable, small rooms but dated and tired Lots of little repairs need to be done it seems! Positive:- Great location for Windsor and London,100yards from train station which did not pose a problem with noise. Friendly, courteous staff Good breakfast Close to an excellent Indian Restaurant and a good village pub. Close to 3...

We paid £80 as we had to decamp urgently... the room had flies in the bathroom, the toilet didn't flush, the shower was little more than a dribble and the TV monitor didn't work.... it gets worse - the bed was so soft we sunk to the floor and the breakfast was disgusting. Never, ever stay here.

The room was quite shabby, with torn and badly stained carpets, decor grubby and the blinds would not open. There were 3 of us at breakfast one of my colleagues had a dish of fruit with a spoonful of yogurt prior to her full english. But we were charged for 4 full english breakfasts. We were told the fruit was...

Possible the worst hotel I have ever stayed out: Dirty: stained lampshades, carpets, dirty bathrooms, dirty cutlery, sticky floors, filthy chairs, smell of stale smoke, mould in bathrooms. Dangerous: Only 2 ceiling lights working: wall lights not working. Tried to plug in 2 bedside lamps - one plug was cracked in half and WET. Safety: duck tape on door handle...

The website calls the rooms 'elegant'. My room was far from that. Generally run down and shabby. The worst of all was the shower which as well as the shower tray being badly chipped, the shower hose and spray were filthy, caked with limescale and mould. Also mould all round the door sliders which could easily have been cleaned off....

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It's under the Heathrow flight path and the annex that we were put in is directly adjacent to the railway line. The rooms are not soundproofed so you hear trains all night long which also vibrate the building and planes during flight hours. When those are not disturbing you, there...
