Right across the road from the world famous Mt Maunganui beach. Beautifully presented apartments. Cafe's on the doorstep. Great location, great apartments and great hosts - we will be back. Nothing more needs to be said.

Exactly as you would expect the hotel is located on the beachfront at Mt Maunganui Close to local amenities and just 5 minutes walk from the mount. We arrived late but got a warm welcome from the lady at reception. Clean room with a real comfy bed Big spacious room with kitchen and laundry

Yes that is what we both said as we walked in to our 3rd floor apartment at the Pavilion Hotel at the Mount. Great views, great location, terrific amenities and layout. We would definitely recommend it and return there. The lounge furniture is a little tired but we felt the overall amenities were very good it feels very much like...

Pavilion is in a great location near the base of Mt Maunganui. Our room was spacious with a nice snippet of the sea from the generous balcony. A nice surprise was a very reasonably priced mini bar. HOWEVER the attitude and demeanour of the manager was well "off". Verging on rude there was no pleasantries or attempt to accomodate us...

The bathroom was leaking in my room, I advised the reception, they put a towel up underneath the toilet where it was leaking from and 3 hits when I returned was no difference, it was disgusting..... The lady was extremely unhelpful and then rung us at 9.30am to remind us we had to check out at 10am!!! It was freezing...

The man who works in reception is the most unhelpful person I have dealt with in a long time. I called reception because one of the sets of sheets was missing, and after him being unnecessarily snarky I was asked to come down to reception. At reception I felt uncomfortable and he was still being difficult - over two sheets....

This is a must for anybody visiting Mount Maunganui. Location superb, across the road from the beach, short walk to some good quality restaurants, even shorter if you can get in to Dixie Brown next door but booking is strongly recommended. We enjoyed a visit to the Coffee Club after we had walked around the Mount.Allow slightly more time for the walk than...
