This motel is located in a remote area near Capitol Reef National Park, very close to some wonderful areas to photograph. Just down the road the Mesa Market is a real surprise. It has wonderful goat cheese and brown bread produced right there.

The closest restaurant is Luna Mesa but it was closed at the time I was there because of mud. there was a big storm which rained a lot. Luna Mesa should be open now. Next choice is to head east to a little town called Hanksville. I believe there are three restaurants to choose from. I do not recommend going west to Torrey because of the distance.
