We stayed at the Roadway Sept.14, 2015.
After we limped into the parking lot late in the day with our rental car, it was too late to make arrangements for another car. Because of the limited cell phone coverage we needed to use the motel's...More
This is a motel, and a tired one. It's also one of the few places near Capitol Reef, so you might have no other choice. It's in the middle of nowhere, so a bit of a drive to anything else, like a restaurant. The breakfast...More

The closest restaurant is Luna Mesa but it was closed at the time I was there because of mud. there was a big storm which rained a lot. Luna Mesa should be open now. Next choice is to head east to a little town called Hanksville. I believe there are three restaurants to choose from. I do not recommend going west to Torrey because of the distance.
