We stayed at Silver Cord B&B for 3 nights during our trip to South America in September 2014 and received a warm and gracious welcome from Adrian, Sonia and family. Excellent service all round, from initial enquiry, to being dropped off at Mendoza airport on departure. Food from Sonia was excellent - hearty breakfasts, tasty sandwiches for lunch, and delicious...

Wonderful find in a simply stunning location. Away from the hustle and tourism of Mendoza. Less than a 2 hour drive from Mendoza and close to the mountains and the majestic Aconcagua. The B&B is tucked away in the Valle de Sol and it lived up to its name. We were treated like part of the family and were even...

The place is like a cabana with a living room, a kitchen, a nice bedroom with a king size bed, and a bathroom with a marvelous jacuzzi. The place is isolated and quiet with a view for the Andes. Very clean and cozy with two cable tv's and good w-ifi. The owner is very lovely. Recommended!

The B&B is situated in a beautiful location near the mountains. We appreciated the warm and friendly welcome of Adrian and Sonia. We felt like being at a friend´s home. The breakfast was excellent and prepare by Sonia with homemade products. The room we had was clean and the bed comfortable. The room have a private entry, even if it...

Great atmosfere - I will have to say i chose this place due to its reviews and they didnt let me down. Food homecooked & great, hospitality a 10er as well, 300 sunny days a year and a still to be discovered area around town. Adrian can arrange lots of excursions including one, where you will see condors and remains...

I was cycling solo from Mendoza en route to Chile and had planned to stay somewhere in the area, very fortunately I called Silver Cord that evening and Adrian and his family were exceptionally hospitable in their delightful B&B. The food and levels of service you will, in my experience, have difficulty replicating in Argentina, certainly in this fairly remote...

Adrian took my wife and I on a personalized High Andes Mountain trip, and it was AMAZING! He took us to see petroglyphs, an old Inca bridge, Puente de Inca- a natural bridge formation, mountain lakes, and best of all, to the base of Aconcagua. Adrian was an awesome guide. He told of stories about everyplace we visited and answered...

The three nights we spent were fantastic despite some unseasonable weather. Adrian and Sonia's hospitality was of the highest order. Not to mention the food which was the best we had in our 7 week trip to Argentina & Chile. We will return. The day trips need to be repeated

We spent night at Adrian and Sonia's home. We started off on a tour of a nearby range of the Andes (the Condor trek, or something similar) which was spectacular. What made it most special is the little number of other people we saw on the hike. Not only is the area incredibly beautiful but we also felt like we...

We spent nine wonderful days at the Silver Cord. Adrian and Sonja are exceptional hosts and make you feel immediately at home. Adrian is a superior tour guide whose sense of humour adds that little extra touch to wine excursions, Andes treks and high country touring. Each excursion is customized to your personal preferences and Adrian then opens a window...
