This was a great place to stay, in a small clearing hacked out of the rainforest. The bedrooms are large with king size beds and very comfortable. The floor is concrete and the attached bathroom is open to the sky and cold water only. Basic but suitable for a couple of nights. The food is excellent, again fairly basic but...

This is in a clearing in the forest and a really pleasant place to stay. You have to pay US$5/hour for internet and sometimes it doesn't work. We are vegetarians and the food was outstanding. It's simple but a great atmosphere. The canopy walk is shortened but even sitting outside your hut you will see heaps. The guides were great

Great food and wonderful rainforest walks. Unfortunately the canopy walkway is only half its original length as a tree has demolished part of it. No fan in the bedroom but there were 2 cockroaches in the bed and no power after around 10pm. They did relocate me to another room after killing one of the roaches.

Was pleasantly surprised by Atta. I spent a very enjoyable night there with my parents and was very impressed by everything. Very nice rooms, possibly the best food in guyana and a very professional guide.

Atta Rainforest Lodge is set in a clearing in the forest - surrounded by forest it has an atmosphere of being cut off from the outside world. The rooms are in brick-built blocks with outside bathrooms. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours clearly. The outside bathrooms are quite fun as it is lovely to shower in...

This lodge is just off the main Rupununi road in a clearance in the forest. The rooms are tidy and comfortable with a bathroom at the rear which is open above and close to the neighbours. The bar and restaurant is very nicely appointed and the communal evening meal lovely, well prepared, well served and rather special with some of...

Sadly part of the walkway this place is famous for was down after a storm. We saw nothing from the remainder. We did, however see quite a lot of birds from the road. The rooms were nice, the open air showers charming. The staff were friendly and the candlelit dinner under the stars a joy. Great place for birds and...

Atta Rainforest Lodge is another wonderful place within the Iwokrama Rainforest. The accommodation, the staff, the food and tours are all great! A trip to Atta is not complete without visiting the Canopy Walkway! It is magnificent! ❤ I will definitely be visiting again someday! 😀

Happened to be here the day the President visited. Meant we had to postpone our earlier walk. But we got to meet him and get a photo!! Staff fantastic. Canopy walk was good. Rooms fine. Food good. Really enjoyed how remote this place is.

This is the ideal camp for the canopy walkway because it's right on the doorstep. Also being deep inside the rainforest gives that magical, immersed experience. The guides are knowledgeable and John has eyes like a hawk, spotting almost invisible birds from incredible distances.
