This place ticked all of the boxes for our romantic anniversary getaway to Cornwall. We wanted a place by the sea - check. You can see the sea from two of the bedroom windows. We wanted a place to have dinner at as well - check. Susan is a gourmet chef and served us 3-course meals every night with even...

Better than what we expected. A perfect setting for a romantic get away. Views were breathe taking. We will definitely be going again and again. Sue and John go out of their way to make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. It's clean, warm and homely. We recommend the Cove Cottage over and over again. We...

Cove cottage was simply fantastic! It is one of the few places where the reality exceeds the expectation. As we meandered down the peculiar roads that lead to the cottage, we experienced some trepidation--are we really on the right path? As we finally pulled into the driveway, we quickly realized this was the perfect destination. The beautiful gardens, centered on...

The most ravishing place, with accommodation and service to match. Sue and John could not have been more welcoming and helpful and St Loy must be one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth. The stunning garden only adds to the general loveliness. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious - even down to eggs from the...

The rooms were very comfortable and inviting, a pleasure to arrive home to each evening. Food was marvelous and hospitality top notch....all in all, absolutely brilliant. We shall return :)...

The loveliest place we stayed. The guest suite is beautiful, comfortable, spacious and inviting, with spectacular views over Sue and John's garden to the sea. Every detail of the space is well thought out, and beautifully appointed. Great bathroom with deep bath, as well as shower. We spent 2 weeks in England, travelling from America. Visited Kent, Cumbria, Oxford and...

Sue and John White’s Cove Cottage lies at the end of a long and steep track in a remote area of west Cornwall. The luxurious self-contained accommodation (one large room with 4-poster bed) is complemented by Sue’s gourmet meals, while the views out to sea across the magnificent garden are spectacular. Bananas and other exotics can be grown out of...
