The lodges are located in a beautiful and peaceful area. There is a lovely woodland walk just outside the lodge and a children's play area next to a badminton court. The lodge itself was very spacious, great for young children and families. The rooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen very well equipped. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Our lodge had a conservatory which looked over the lochan. Great for relaxing in and watching the wildlife outside. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back.

Property's Favourite Review
We have been coming here for 19 years now and it is as amazing now as it always has been. Our children were 11 and 13 when we first came here and they still come back with us all these years later so that shows what a great place it is for all ages. It's a long drive from Liverpool but well worth the journey. The cabins are spotless with everything in them that you could possibly wish for and so comfortable. We have stayed in both the smaller lodges and the bigger ones and they are both equally as special as each other. The view from the big lodges, over the lochan is spectacular. We had no hesitation coming back this year, despite Covid 19. If you are at all worried over going away during this situation, this is the ideal holiday to go on. Close by there is the lovely picturesque town of Forres with all the type of shops you could wish for and a bit further afield is the beautiful, sleepy town of Lossiemouth, situated right on the beach front. Visit Bridge 45 and get a great meal, finished off by an excellent ice-cream from Mielles just next door. Roseisle is also fantastic for its woods leading down to a beautiful beach - great for BBQ's and dog walking. Brodie Country Fayre has everything you could think of and has an excellent restaurant with lovely snacks and meals and Elgin, not too far away is a great town with a beautiful park. All in all, you couldn't wish for a better holiday. The peace and tranquility of Tulloch Lodges and plenty of places of interest quite close by if you want to venture out. But why would you, Tulloch Lodges is perfect in every way and Simon and Michelle are such great hosts, they make you feel at home from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave (the saddest part of all!) Can't wait to come back soon to our little piece of heaven! Thank you Simon and Michelle

The most fantastic, relaxing hideaway in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Very friendly helpful and knowledgeable team running these lodges.. Animal, Human and child friendly. Stunning place and not to far from a supermarket so no need to overpack the car before hand. Book Mosset tavern for dinner 🍴

Sourcing a great value, family friendly retreat in the midst of a global pandemic and the consequential staycation frenzy is not an easy thing to accomplish or something which can be taken lightly but after numerous sleepless nights and days searching I stumbled across this gem of a site which appeared to tick all the boxes. Despite reading all the reviews and visiting a not inconsiderable amount of websites, I was a little cautious in confirming our visit to Tullochwood and almost missed out on a glorious week away in so much as the week we wanted to book had been snapped up overnight damn and blast. However from the outset Simon was a great host suggesting alternative dates and accommodation which met the bill perfectly with a little restructuring. The booking process was simple and straight forward and the travel and arrival details arrived as promised and were extremely easy to follow. The site itself was an amazing return to simpler times, clean, well organised and spacious, definitely up to the standard advertised with a personal touch hinted at by Simon whilst booking including details such as a log book of previous visitor experiences which was well worth reading for hints and suggestions for day to day excursions. Michelle and Simon are lovely hosts and were more than happy to help out with a couple of minor family dramas encountered, the lodge tour was excellent and we certainly benefited from their local experience on more than one occasion The Galley Fish and Chips in Lossiemouth whilst watching the sun set was particularly good . The location is superb if you want to experience the seclusion of being away from the regular crowds but close enough to access the perks if any of convenience shopping. All in all a wonderful trip and an experience none of the family will forget in a hurry. Thanks very much, all the best and hope to see you again soon

Hi, thanks for your review, we are very pleased you enjoyed your time with us back in 2019. You stayed in Huntly lodge, one of our type B, 3 bedroom, sleeps up to 6 lodges, as you say these all have lots of space inside and outside there are 28 acres to roam around. We are just 15 minutes from stunning beaches, woodland walks galore, and take pride in welcoming each and every guest personally, very much a "home from home". Thanks again for your review, we hope to see you again the the future, Simon & Michelle
