We have just returned from a three night break, staying at the manor apartment. We had a party of 10 aged from 7-60. The apartment itself was massive! With plenty of room for everyone, it was great not to be on top of each other...More
The poor marks are given to Penstowe park and not the amazing private lodge we Had. Most of the park and manor look tired and dated I hated the road going down to the Coombe Lodge as the potholes are so big and deep I...More

I totally agree with you. We stayed one night of our 7 due to the terrible stae of the cottage. The only reason we stayed was because we had driven for 7.5 hrs to get there and were tired. we left the next day after talking to the manager to complain and she didn't seem suprised almost as if she new all about the condition of the place. I really do not know how some of the people on here can say how wonderfull the place is?? when the places we stayed in clearly were not. accomodation needs to be refurbished by proper builders/contractors it will cost a lot.
