Fourth stay, this time a short time before the country's second lockdown, during the second week of September. The hotel was prepared to deal with the special situation. Although it was pretty full due to a convention, we were split into groups for breakfast and dinner, and access to the buffet was conditional to wearing masks and gloves, with no exclusions. Tables were reasonably spaced and no pressure was exercised on guests to agree to a specific table. We stayed in the boutique suite , which was quiet, spacious and functionally furnished, with two bathrooms , two TVs and two a/c systems. When we arrived it was impeccably clean, but during our stay the cleaning was more fast than thorough. I agree with a previous reviewer that charging 3nis/each for a reasonable amount of refill Nespresso capsules (2 in total for a stay of four nights) is not in the best of taste. If you wish to bring yours please note we had a vertuo machine. The indoor pool was closed for the best part of our stay, but when it opened it was lovely. The open air pool was quite busy ( although not crowded) and not very many people adhered to the mask protocol. The food was excellent as usual. It was very hot, so we did not tour much, but the location is very very good for all sights in the Golan. All things considered I feel that the hotel and the whole staff made the best of unique and rather challenging circumstances to give all guests a pleasant and relaxing stay. I would definitely go back.…
Hagoshrim is a solid option when visiting the North (areas such as the Tel Dan Nature Reserve) as the hotel sits on a kibbutz and has nice rooms and access to a great pool and a solid exercise facility. Our Suite - Room 61 is nicely appointed with two bathrooms and flat screen TV's and such so no complaints from an accommodation perspective. Where the hotel misses is on the training of the staff and lacking a customer centric focus. As a key example, we requested a late checkout (say noon or 1 PM versus the 11AM the standard time). When we asked about this the reply was a curt, can't help you. What frustrated my wife and I was the lack of any perspective of the many things they could have said (while still not extending our check-out) but would have left us feeling better about the hotel, our stay and the type of customer service training the staff receive. The front desk person could have said: 1. Let me make a call and see if we can extend you for 1 hour till noon; as check in is not till 3PM or 2. We can't extend you but we are happy to hold your luggage and offer you the chance to swim in the pool until you care to leave or 3. We are so sorry we can't accommodate your request, but is there anything else we can give you such as a complimentary cold drink or 4. I am so sorry to disappoint you but if you visit again, I will make sure you get an extra special room. Unfortunately, the front desk person showed no interest, empathy or desire to help us out. Either they do not screen for people who like working with people or the training is lacking. Hopefully, we had a particularly poor staff member or they were having a really bad day.…
We were 9 people with children. Breakfast was delicious. 2 nights. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff kept the regulations regarding the corona and we felt very safe. Outdoor Pool was great. Thank you!
After many years my extended family returned and stayed in the hotel for 4 night at the heat of the Aug vacation. Despite the fact that the hotel was completely full the staff was friendly and did its best to help. In general the hotel is taking corona seriously and helped us to feel comfortable in this crazy times. The hotel is spread out over a large area which help in this time, very well maintained and the Kibutz facilities are great including two large pools and sports facilities. Centrally located to main attractions in the Galil and the Golan heights, one of the best hiking ares in IL. We all stayed in the premium family suits, which are renovated and well equipped. Highly recommend for family but don't expect any luxury.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Very well kept, very pleasant “boutique room” Coping very nicely with the COVID 19 virus. Nice pool wonderful walks in the gardens, excellent location to visit the local attractions. Hope to be back soon Thank u Freddy
