We found this lodge to be set in idyllic bush with beautiful views of the harbour. The hosts were lovely and very accommadtating. Would recommend this accommodation. Unit was well appointed and spotless with free wifi and cooking facilities plus a outdoor spa set in a pagoda like structure. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Rented a small apartment here which had the most comfortable bed, was clean nicely decorated and spacious. The view of the harbour from the lovely garden and from the spa are beautiful. The spa is spotless and the water was changed whilst I was there. The backpackers space was also recently refurbished. Proprietors really friendly and helpful. Dont rely on... More

We have just stayed at Sunseeker Lodge and had a lovely time, On arrival we were told we had been upgraded, as we had only booked for one night, and another couple wanted the room we had booked for four - not a problem. We were upgraded from a one bedroom to a four bedroom and had lots of living... More

I don't usually post negative reviews but I want to share my recent experience. I can't comment on the facilities as I didn't get to stay there. I read good things about this lodge and booked a room 24 hours in advance online via the lodge's own website for one night, paying in full and booking was accepted with money... More

This place can only be booked by coming into town directly, according to Karen, the owner. I drove into Whangaroa without a place to stay and the nice lady at the General Store at the beginning of town recommended it. Just follow to the road to Old Hospital Road and just drive on up :) They're remodeling, but the view... More

Thank you Sara Yes after remodeling our backpacker side of the building it is now perfect for dive groups or fishing groups which can only be booked by directly phoning the Lodge and is proving to be very successful, The spa is popular after a long day out on the water. The rest of the building and,our large four bedroom... More

My boyfriend and I LOVED Whangaroa and staying at Sunseeker! The owners Karen and Owen are very accommodating and friendly :) The lodge has many rooms and a couple apartments available with everything cleaned daily. They're always working around the clock to continue updating and renovating to continue making Sunseeker amazing!
