If you're used to the Greek Islands you'll know that this kind of hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are fairly basic, but very clean, air conditioning is 6 euros/day but the breakfast is good. The staff are friendly and helpful and exchange money at reception (didn't find anywhere to exchange in the resort). Most places ar still open here, but when we drove around the island we saw that most of the larger hotels were closed. The beach is nice, you can use sunbeds belonging to bars and restaurants on the beach front. The largest part of the beach here is in front of Sandy Beach hotel at the far end, it was too busy for us. We found a gorgeous beach called Prassoudi, about 20 minutes drive through olive trees, it had one taverna - a bit of a trek but worth it. A very relaxing environment. Don't worry about wearing masks (at the moment anyway) there is sanitiser to use and you only need to wear a mask in supermarkets and on your transfer. Staff wear masks/visors or sanitise their hands in front of you before serving food. Good value car hire was obtained from Costas down the road from the hotel.
This place seems to have a lot of returning guests, so look forward to a relaxing holiday here.

The hotel is officially 2 star, but could easily be a 3 star, as the rooms and facilities are equal to any 3 star I have stayed in Greece. Still, being 2 star means the tourist tax is only 50cents per night. I had a lovely room with a huge balcony, and mini fridge. Claire is very friendly and always available for a chat or to offer local advice. Breakfast is buffet, but due to the covid pandemic the staff plate it for you. There is a gorgeous outside breakfast area. Choice was good of both hot and cold foods.
Surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with a handful of shops and sandy beaches. Great for single travellers, couples and families. But head somewhere else if you want nightlife. There is a good local bus service to Corfu Town, which is not to be missed, and the boat trips to Paxos and Blue Lagoon are good value. My first time to Corfo, but not my last.

Spent an enjoyable 11 days a Blue Sea. I can reiterate what most Reviewers have described. The hotel does need a little TLC but is clean, the Breakfast is adequate if only you can get the girls to provide a reasonable that than gargantuan proportions. The staff are all friendly and special mention to Claire who goes the extra mile to assist guests. We did not dine in the restaurant at night but Lunchtime snacks were very reasonable. The location is central but oddly not much happening adjacent to the property. Them main strip is 10 minutes to the right and the old town 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. Aghios Georgios has Hire and Travel shops many Restaurants and a few bars, several Supermarkets but oddly only one regular shop and no Pharmacy, Bakery or Hairdressing type establishments. Would I stay again most definitely if in Aghios Georgios as very good value for money. .

7 nights half board basis (BIG MISTAKE)!

Our room was far from clean.

There is no shower head bracket you have to hold the shower head yourself.

You cant flush loo roll, you put it in a bin, you would expect that bin at least to be emptied everyday, it wasn't.

the safe is loose and not bolted down, so maybe they should call it an unsafe safe.

Air con works but is noisy and you also pay extra for it.

Flat screen tv does not work, was loose on the wall, didn't bother complaining, we intended to spend as much time away from this hotel.

View from the balcony, a derelict building and old scrap car and large unused swimming pool half filled with stagnant brown/green water a breeding ground for mosquitoes (I will post a photo of that pool. If you do sit on the balcony take a bucket load of industrial strength mosquito repellent, you will need it.

There was 2 plug sockets in the room one for the tv and one for the fridge.

Due to covid food is served to you, breakfast was not too bad.

Dinner, first night we were had the choice of salad and feta cheese for starters (the salad consisted of tomatoes and cucumber) and pork and rice for mains, no choice, the pork was mostly fat and pretty much inedible.
As for the second evening, still no choice what so ever, a salad for a starter and fried chicken leg with fried boiled potatoes, and again it was disgusting. After that we ate out every night.

In 7 nights the towels were changed once.
The bins were emptied once.
The bedding was not changed.

The general managers, the staff, all of them were really nice and helpfull to us! It made our stay really comfortable and lovely. Especially as a single mom with a 3 year old! My son could run around and yell, have fun, they all were very nice and played with him the whole trip! Only the other guest were a bit grumpy, maybe because they wanted a child-free, relaxing holiday…
The rooms were very clean and comfy, it was all okay for the price you pay. The first day there were a lot of musquitos. But we got a tip from the general manager to buy a musquito ambi pur at the supermarket and the next day there were less musquitos! Very handy!
The breakfast was really nice too, simple and fresh cooked. How it should be or even more for this price! Really lovely thank you!
I really recommend this hotel! We certainly visit you again!

Nice small hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is run by greek-english family who is always very helpful. Also waiters are always smiled and kind. The hotel is located in quiet part of Agios Georgios, nice walk from here to the centre of the village with tavernas, souvenir shops and supermarkets. There are several beaches where you can walk from the hotel, approximately 5 minutes of walking. Area of the hotel was clean. Rooms were also clean, cleaning ladies come everyday to empty bins and towels were changed 3 times in a week. We had very pleasant stay and nice moments here, sure want to come back again.

And as a lover of dogs there were two cute oldie dogs that made my stay even better😛

Just returned home from a second stay at Blue sea. Cannot find one thing to fault. Room was large with a large L shaped balcony with sea view along with pool view.
We arrived early hours but no issues checking in etc.
No issues with breakfast - for the price they charge to stay , they cannot possibly be making anything on breakfast at all . We had a storm yesterday morning and a power cut but they still opened for breakfast !
All staff friendly and approachable especially Claire the manager. She is amazing at her job and is always on hand should you need any advice about anything including trips, taxi's, transfers arranging etc. Genuine concern shown for her guests and their well-being.
Claire takes the time to talk to guests daily and returned an item i had accidentally left in the room when we checked out whilst we was relaxing round the pool .
Cleaner in the room daily , clean towels and sheets changed every other day. Floors swept and mopped etc.
Communal areas of the hotel are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Good location for the beach - 5 minute walk . Restaurant at the hotel is fab and lots more in walking distance.
No issues getting a sunbed round the pool regardless of the time of day ( this was also the case when we visited last time in August )
As big cat lovers it's also nice to see that whilst they don't encourage cats during meal times and will remove them from the dining area this is done in a kind and compassionate way with no harm shown towards the cats in any way shape or form.
The hotel had two cat visitors a beautiful grey male and a black and white female. The grey can often be found sunbathing around the pool :)

We will definitely be returning without a shadow of a doubt.
The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere in general . Quite a few lone travellers whilst we were there but no one was isolated and it feels very safe as does the resort in general.
I wouldn't have any hesitation about staying on my own !

Thanks for a great holiday Claire xx see you soon xx

Well what can i say about this hotel, first of all the hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was cleaned everyday,Sheets changed every second day which is fine by us as i change mine at home only once a week😀On our first day there i asked the friendly cleaner would it be possible to get extra pillows and she had them in my room by the time i got back from the shop. When we arrived which was 10.30 at night claires son met us, he explained everything to us and was very friendly and polite, he brought us to our room and showed us how everything worked and told us anything we needed to just ask. Once we sorted our selves out we went to have a drink in hotel bar, we were starving we asked clares son who was working in the bar what was the chances of getting something small to eat as it was so late, the chef who was finished work and was sitting over from us got up and said no problem what would we like, she made us a lovely burger and fries, NOW THATS SERVICE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!! The next day we got up late si had breakfast in mad mikes down the rd it was fab, We came back after breakfast and sat at the beautiful pool, grandad as i called him was making sure the pool was spotless and had the maintenance / cleaner guy sort it every day, Pedro the bar man is a gent, always a smile for everyone, i got stung by a jellyfish one day at the beach and he sorted me out with vinegar and everytime he seen me he would make it his business to ask how i was, and he makes great ice coffees😊 All the waithing staff were lovely and friendly, maria is a wee gem, always a happy smile and always a hello, The pizza chef is lovely also as is his pizzas, Granny as i called her is lovely too always cracking the whip😂 sometimes it sounds like shes giving out but think it a greek thing, i admired the respect the whole staff have for her, its humblng.. Claire is also amazing, she cant do enough for her guests in my opinion, she should be very proud of how she runs this hotel, the hotel is beside everything, bars, restaurants, shops and 2 beautiful beaches, I read a few not so nice reviews on here criticising grannys clothes, and the staff which i find so disrespectful, This hotel is amazing and i would give it 5 stars.. I would come here a million times over,.. Guys keep up the good work and never change who ye are, ye are all amazing x

Just returned from a week here booked through Thomas cook. Picked this side of the island as we love the beaches and always hire a scooter to see the sights. Had not been to this resort before and used it as a base for our exploring. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel.
Hotel is family run and Clare welcomed us when we arrived late on the Friday night and showed us to room. Our room was on top floor of the new block, a family room that was furnished very modern for Greece. Air conditioning was good ( extra cost) and water always hot in shower. Nice balcony with wicker chairs to sit on of an evening…
We found the bathroom a bit bizarre: no hook for the shower so had to hold it to use it which soaks the whole room and the towel rails are up near the ceiling ( one fell down) … so although all new and fresh the shower was hard work and the simple addition of a hook would solve that issue.
Also the addition of a kettle and 2 x mugs would have been a great addition to the room plus a couple of glasses as there is a fridge in the room for water and drinks.
The only downer for us was the breakfast that was offered as previous reviews have mentioned… we have stayed in many Greek hotels, some only 1* but never had such a poor choice, not even a toaster on offer.
We attempted it on the first morning but left before we had even started.
If we stayed again it would be on a room only basis …Ananias hotel opposite serve a great breakfast for around 6euros as does Max Mikes round the corner… we saw a lot of the other guests frequenting here too.
Such a shame as we had a fab pizza at the hotel and lunch one day at the pool which was also excellent.
Overall, lovely hotel, nice staff, rooms cleaned every day and pool area kept fresh… Clare is very welcoming and on hand to answer any issues.
Typical Greek resort with a lovely beach, tavernas and bars… bit run down in places but that is expected due to recent times of covid.

Well positioned for the beach. Lovely pool and bar area.
Breakfast was disappointing but usual fayre for Greek hotels - eggs, frankfurters, tomatoes, bread, salads, cheese, ham, yogurt, tinned fruit, cornflakes, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Milk could have been stored in the fridge so was a little warm for cereal.
Room was OK. Spacious enough with a balcony with sea views but the shower was not fixed to the wall and the temperature seemed to fluctuate. Only 1 pillow on the beds and had a weird plastic sheet underneath. The maids came daily and did a great job. Aircon is available for €7 per day and we needed it! Overall, a good hotel well located. I think the area has suffered a bit with Covid so the lifting of restrictions is very much needed and welcomed.

Hi. You can book a standard twin with extra bed which has three beds in it. Or a junior suite/family room which has 4 beds in it. Hope this helps you.
