We really enjoyed our stay at Oyster Bay - the staff and service were excellent, the food exceeded our expectation and the acticities superb. We had a picnic overlooking the lagoon and beach, rode horses on the beach and did the jeep safari. The guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the environment. Thank for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Oyster Bay Lodge is one of those places that seems too good to be true, as everything is perfect. From the moment we arrived and met Claire till we left 4 days later (only planned to stay for 2) - everything was just idyllic. The endless sandy beach, the horses, the walks, the food and our cottage with it's fireplace,...

We had two nights here at the beginning of our holiday. We were upgraded to a chalet as the drains in the sink and bath didn't work and had the most wonderful room with large sitting area and fire place. All the staff, especially Wayne were brilliant. V attentive and friendly. It was a v memorable place. The only thing...

After a difficult 24k drive along an unmade road we were delighted to find Oyster Bay Lodge exceeded expectations. Excellent welcome, room and facilities and a great dining experience. The surrounding area was a delight and on our second day a picnic lunch was delivered to us at the beach platform on horseback. This was followed by a walk along...

I think it would be helpful if the rooms could have wi Fi. Also, it would be an improvement if guests eating in for dinner be offered a choice of 2 main courses to choose from, although the the food was very good. Wonderful beach and good range of activities.

Very special location with great walks which is what we liked best of all. Also enjoyed the horse riding on the amazing beach and the nature visit. Friendly staff although the meal service was a little slow.

We spent 4 nights at OysterBayLodge - even though we booked in April, we couldn't get 4 nights in the Chalets, so we settled for 2 in a room and 2 in a chalet with option to self cater lunch and dinner. Timing was Dec30th-2nd Jan. So it's peak season, and even so there aren't ever more than 36 people...

Good hotel with nice rooms, good food in restaurant and above all a fantastic location on its own with the beach, the dunes and the wetlands. Also nice manager and staff at both reception and restaurant.

Wonderful warm reception , exceptional views, great service and good home cooked food made for a really relaxing few days. Stress melted away and the drinks in the bar , watching rugby with the locals was an unforgettable experience. They embraced us warmly and we felt like we had known these new friends all our life. Certainly recommending this gem...

We spent a wonderful evening and night at Oster Bay Lodge. Once we have managed the very bumpy (and at that time muddy road), we received a very warm welcome from Claire. The luxury chalet was very spacious and had a fireplace. Because we were on honeymoon we were suprised with a very, very nice flower and Champage decoration inside...
