We were so happy to have the chance to come back to this lovely house and be welcomed again by Anna to her beautiful home. We couldn't recommend it more highly to other travelers to this glorious, rolling Yorkshire countryside. Anna makes her guests feel so welcome, it really feels like a home from home. Our room was incredibly spacious,...

If you like dogs, then you will be in doggy heaven at this charming B&B in Yorkshire. Jack breeds labradors and will show you the latest litter if you ask him. Anna will keep you in stitches with anecdotes about Jack, Yorkshire life and the world in general! There is a good selection of places to eat around the district...

We recently got back from a lovely few days stay at Carr House Farm Bed and Breakfast. On arrival we were shown to our room by Anna, the owner who gave us a lovely warm welcome and quickly supplied us with milk and fresh cakes which was a really nice touch. The farm is set in idyllic surroundings close to...

It is such a shame when people give negative reviews for bed and breakfast owners who open up their own homes for guests they don't know from Adam and who do their best to make you feel as comfortable and as welcome as they can with simple personal touches such as freshly home baked cakes in your room on a...

Firstly, the owners only wanted cash for payment and to pay a deposit you had to send a cheque! I question why that is in this day and age Secondly the room was...

I fell on this extraordinary bed and breakfast quite by accident, as I was selling my wares at a Christmas charity fair at Duncombe Park, nearby. I arrived, on my own, after the first evening of sales, at about 9.45, to be met by the totally welcoming Anna, who had turned on lamps in my room, put a hottie in...

Upon arrival shown to rooms that were comfortable and warm on arrival. Anna is the perfect host and very knowledgeable with places to visit..she had ticket savings for Castle Howard which we paid £10 for - a saving of £7 per ticket - well worth a visit if you get chance to go as the Christmas displays are exceptional... Plenty...

We visited the area to dine at a local restaurant for my husband's birthday. On arrival, we were greeted by the most lovely B & B owner, Anna, who instantly made us feel so welcome. The farm itself was quaint and beautiful and the room was probably the most cosy and welcoming we've ever stopped in. Some lovely touches were...
