We have stayed here for 2 nights but it felt like much longer. The Surfing Turtle Lodge was like a hidden paradise. Just hanging out at the beach or at their couches. The managers were amazing and made sure everyone was getting the best service. We will definitely come back here.

We went because il was recommanded by the lonely planet ( which is old) must have been a nice place but not anymore very dirty with trash every where. Though many young backpackers come there for party. This place could be really nice it s a pity it is in this state. A great adventure to go there though :...

The time I spent at the lodge was indeed a very rewarding and relaxing experience. The set up is just amazing, very spread out so you can always find a spot to chill and be on your own or with your loved one, if you're looking for a well deserve quiet time. The common areas are great, the amazing volley...

After lots of searching, my wife and I made the trip out to the Surfing Turtle and were SO glad we did! Great food, drinks, facilities, and beach. The beach is essentially secluded for miles in either direction. We had an amazing time here relaxing and surfing. The grounds are a very interesting place and the staff is very friendly....

This place is awesome! Incredible vibes and a family-like atmosphere. I really enjoyed the daily volleyball (and winning the free drinks!), the morning yoga overlooking the beach, and the evening events. The central space create a close-knit group so that you can actually make strong connections with people and have an awesome time. Some nights we'd decide to get a...

We went to surfing turtle lodge for three days and had a very good time. We booked the very basic bamboe hut, which is sort of a tent with a mosquito net and a small place to store the bags. It was small, but ok since we were on the beach or the lounge most of the time. The surfing...

We enjoyed our stay at the surfing turtle lodge, great staff, good food and a nice vibe. The staff organised a volleyball competition every day and a game in the evening. Pity is that there's no kitchen for private use to you need to buy every meal which makes it all add up. We went there to surf, which we...

I stayed for a few days in mid October. We were lucky enough to see turtles hatching which was awesome. The volunteers were all nice and enthusiastic and the beach is nice although you need to be careful of rip currents dragging you out. However the managers came across as pretty unfriendly & the food is average & overpriced, often...

I stayed here for three nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Very beautiful hostel on a secluded beach with amazing sunsets. The staff and volunteers were all super friendly and very welcoming, and allways got everyone who wanted to, involved in fun games and activities(including beach volley ball). Very social hostel and I met lots of cool people....

We stayed at the surfing turtle lodge at the end of September 2016. We had a really relaxing few days and the beach is beautiful however this beach is no good for surfing. There's a strong rip current and the waves are dumpy. Boards are 10 dollars a day. The place had a nice vibe and staff were really friendly....
