Loved everything about this place. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were extremely comfortable (if you like firm beds, which we do), everything was clean, and all the rooms open up to a beautiful courtyard garden. It’s in a perfect location right next to the plaza, Comitán is a great town that we loved exploring and people watching. Highly recommend staying here!

Clean, modern hotel with all the amenities! Our room was spacious and well appointed with artsy, yet tasteful decor. The courtyard was beautiful and a great place to relax. The restaurant was super convenient for breakfast and offered a varied menu. So close to the historic/tourist center!!! There are restaurants, shops, and the lovely square less than half a block away. Parking lot is a huge asset in this area! What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff! Everyone from reception, to housekeeping, to wait staff was extremely professional and kind. Ignacio helped us with our plans to Lagos de Montebello and El Chiflon. He also helped with a minor car repair. He went way above and beyond! Hilda, the housekeeper, became a fast friend and was so sweet in helping me practice my Spanish. I highly recommend Hotel Casa Delina!

Very nice and affordable choice to stay in Comitan. The rooms are modern and comfortable. There is a patio where you can read a book or drink a beer. Food can be found in the restaurant next door or in any of the restaurants in town that are on walking distance.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is rustic and modern, it has a courtyard where you can work or sip on some coffee, this hotel has its own restaurant as well and parking in the back, very safe and secure. Our stay was comfortable and it is right in the heart of Comitan, near the plaza. We stayed here to travel to Las Lagunas de Montebello which was fantastic! It is a one hour drive and once we got to the park we met a wonderful and knowledgeable guide that showed us every natural wonder. His name is Oscar. If you need a guide let me know as there are many posing as guides but merely know anything and only want your money.

Super, super great place to stay just steps away from the downtown square. We stayed in number 8 room which is huge. My daughter, son-in-law and I needed the space and are most grateful for the quiet nights, hot water, fan (which we asked for) and staff which has answered every question we have had. My daughter speaks Spanish. I'm not sure otherwise how a non-Spanish speaker might fare. Close to restaurants. Safe and private car park for our rental. Great housekeeping staff Hilda and Lupita are lovely helpers. Fresh and safe water in the lobby/veranda. Mauricio is the manager/owner. Marjella, Ignacio, Gaby are wonderful at the front desk.

This place is a gem - what a find! My reviews are always based on a relative basis i.e. what a hotel offers at the price paid. Well, this hotel is a bargain for MXN1300 per night. The rooms are just like in their photos. They are spacious, well laid out and the ambience around the hotel is great. We wished we could have stayed here one more night! The location, right in the heart of the city centre, is great too - walking distance to the zocalo (city square) and restaurants. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. Add in free parking, and you can't go wrong here. This is the sort of hotel that gets 10 out of 10 from me on a price/performance basis.

Confortable rooms, great design, concept and just a place to breathe, owners available. The only two things that i can mention as "bad" is the entrance to the parking lot, we were road tripping and we had a hard time entering and exiting the parking lot, and that the staff don't even recommend the food they have at the hotel, but everything good is within walking distance so... who cares.

My husband and I stayed at Casa De Lina for 3 nights on Jan 2018, We love the location its right in the city center easy to walk everywhere . We had a rental car and the parking lot of the hotel was very safe & easy to get in to. Our room was very clean with hot water and comfortable beds, internet work great! plus we had a T.V. This hotel Casa De Lina had everything that we were looking for. We highly recommend this hotel its very colorful and cheerful and very nice staff. (Here is a Little story) My husband and I were on vacation for 6 weeks from Guanajuato to Cancun. with stops in Tuxtla, San Cristobal, Comitan, El Chiflon, Lagos Montebello , Las Nubes, Las Guacamayas, Bonampak, Yaxchilan, Palenque then a flight to Cancun/ Tulum for another week, When we were still Arizona before our vacation, I purchase a map and marked all our stops, Well my husband lost our road map he drop it somewhere! I was just going crazy!! Well the good news is ... The owner of the Casa De Lina found our map,he ask my husband if the map was his gave back to him. I thought that was very nice of him, We stayed at Parador Santa Maria Hacienda the night before we were the only guest their when we were having breakfast in the morning we seen the owner of the hotel and we didn't even get a smile nor a good morning. Here at Casa De Lina the owner was very nice with us and stayed talking with us for about 45 minutes in the garden area, he was telling us the story/history of his hotel which was very interesting to both my husband and I. It's these little things in life that make our vacation more memorable, In one place we didn't ever get a smile and in the other we even got a big hug. On our next vacation we sure will be back to Casa De Lina. When you go there make sure to tell that Walter & Rosemary said hello Thanks for reading our story
