This hotel was perfectly located where the Iguanas cross to the ocean and flamingos feed in a quiet pond steps away. The rooms are large and the baths modern. The beach across the road is miles and miles of unspoiled sand with very few people. The food at lunch was spectacular. Dinner and breakfast were fine but nothing special. Nice...

Iguana Crossing is a first class hotel across from a stunning and empty beach on Isabella Island. Manager Don Pedro is the perfect host, anticipating everyone's needs and arranging transportation. The hotel is small and personal. The pool area is lovely and the food is outstanding. Try the coconut fish and the Sudado. Thank you Iguana Crossing staff for making...

This hotel is exquisite. Very modern and beautiful. Right across from a beautiful beach. At the end of the road from town. And right next to a wonderful walking path that takes you past ponds filled with flamingos and other birds and all the way to the tortoise breeding center. Our room was large and beautifully done. Very modern bathroom....

my husband, dtr, son in law and 2 young grandchildren stayed at the Iguana Crossing. While it is the top rated hotel on the island it is far from a luxury hotel. the staff , especially the management, are not very friendly or accommodating. we had 3 rooms and all were extremely noisy. Our room, number 1, was the worst...

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach/ocean and slightly separated from the center, but at walking distance. The hotel is nice and the room was quite big (n. 4), with a view on both the ocean and the flamingo lagoon. Service wise (breakfast, bathroom, ecc.), expect a 3 stars. The biggest inconvenience is the breakfast being served from...

What an incredibly beautiful and modern hotel, right on the beach near a pond where pink flamingos gather, and Iguana clamber from the lava outcrops near the beautiful sand beach. Pedro, the host, is a reliable font of wisdom on tours, timetables, and communications. The food is very good and clean, and the wine list is quite good and not...
