We looked for an accommodation on the long beach. Most wie booked, had no Family room (king size and single bed) or had been out of Budget. The smile hut offered a cheap bonglow with sea view. After our check in we figured out that they don't empty the bins, didn't clean the bath well or did something else, what... More

We stayed in one of the beach front bungalows for 4 nights. As we had nothing booked in advance and most places were already full, we were lucky to find a bungalow with such great location. The bungalow was very simple and basic (don't expect hot water, wifi in rooms or power sockets), but practical, clean and cam with a... More

This year at smile Hut is locked in controversy not only with long time guests who are giving the place a miss ( avoiding it Like the plague) but with their confrontations with the neighboring establishments the place is far from relaxing... We've stayed at Smile Huts 2 times now and I wish I could be back there now. Sure, the bungalows are not very modern (simple wooden shacks with bucket toilets) but if you're looking for a place to unwind and unplug, this is it. Smile Huts is in the perfect location on the beach- each hut has an ocean view... More

We have stayed at Smile Hut several times within the last few years. However, from this year on, we will definitely avoid this place in the future. The location of the (oldschool) bungalow directly on the beach certainly is a plus, but it is also the only plus Smile Hut has to offer. The bungalows are totally overpriced. Given the... More

Not sure why there's so many negative reviews of this place -- it's literally a wooden hut directly on the beach, facing the waves. What is better than that? Each hut has a hammock and lying there reading a book in the shade as the waves crash on the flawless beach in front of you is pure bliss. Yes, the... More

The told us, that the room was prepared for us but the sheets were really dirty and stinky. The shower didn't work. Only the location directly at the beach is really nice. We payed at the beginning of the season 350 Baht, so it's really cheap but to dirty for us

I stayed here for 12 nights early January. It's was ok. My beachfront bungalow was the highlight, however, not worth the price: 700 Bhat per night. (The past few years they've raised the price annually yet have changed nothing.) Also worth mentioning, upon checkout they made it very clear that money was their only concern when they angrily expressed the... More

Yes, it is basic but the people were friendly - other guests friendly and all together a relaxed time. Huts just on the beach front - you can go to sleep listening to the sea. Food was OK but nothing special.

i'm totally ok with basic accomodation and i've stayed in more primitive bungalows than this. but this place has the ugliest bungalows i've ever seen ironic to the location, the gorgeous long beach. first of all, the room smells bad, sheets and bed smell bad. bongalows seem to be made of wood from outside, but the ceilings are bad concrete....
