I stayed here for a night while I was working out at the mine. Super friendly staff. Always have something good cooking for the supper hour. They provide sandwiches for anyone needing them for lunch, and they were fresh and tasty. Rooms were nice and clean, with plenty of amenities for anyone staying an extended period.

We had a great stay here. The new managers Brad and Shelley and staff treated us like family. Rooms were bright and clean. Beds were comfortable. A/c was quiet. Breakfast area clean and well stocked. Will be returning to this hotel again.

Its so important to check Trip advisor before you travel to some of the more out of the way places. The reviews for this hotels were mixed, some talk about the Truckers and Rig workers that frequent this hotel. Let me tell you not to worry about that, if your staying in Esterhazy , this is a great place. Its...

Had to stay here for work. Hotel is less than desirable, full of dirty noisy truck drivers and rig pigs. Very loud and hard to get a good nights sleep. Parking lot and road approach are gravel. Breakfast was included and decent.

The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. Hotel was kept clean. The continental breakfast wasn't the same every day, nice change than most hotels. Not sure if all rooms were kitchenettes but the 5 we had were. The only complaints I have were the old cable style tv on the nice flat screens, it would be nice if it was...

Western Star is known locally among the travelling tradesman and work crews that work at the nearby Mosaic potash mine as a good solid choice. The hotel is new, serves a small hot breakfast of the usual fare one finds at a hotel that includes breakfast. My room had an apartment sized fridge, stove, and microwave which would be good...

Stayed here for one night. check in was easy and fast. Parking lot isn't paved and there was a lot of pools of water around. Lots of service workers with CN trucks and oil riggers near by. There was a patio table outside for the smokers and beer drinkers. I did notice there was coin laundry. Breakfast was provided, limited...

The pictures on the hotel website are accurate for the inside but they don't show that the hotel is still under construction. The parking lot is not paved and it could be a mucky mess to get in with luggage if it was raining. There is no landscaping etc. and a walk around the hotel is more like a hike...
