Travellers' Choice
Premier Inn Hotel Liverpool (Roby) is a great looking building with architecture dating back to 1840. We're set in our own grounds with a large garden for you to relax in, and there are excellent transport links into the centre of Liverpool, perfect for business or pleasure. City of culture, home to two iconic football clubs, and the place where British pop music began. There's so much that's unique about Liverpool. If you're here in September, don't miss the Liverpool International Music Festival. When the music's over, come back to the hotel for some great food at our Table Table restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.

A terrific night spent here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful, peaceful sleep. Meal deal at Table Table was excellent value for money. We would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. Can't praise it highly enough.

First time staying in this Premier Inn and it certainly will not be my last. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, Callum and the team did an amazing job to make me feel welcome. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

I'm not a huge fan of Premier Inn, due to some less than ideal experiences. The Roby was an exception though. Really nice environment, REALLY friendly staff (both check in and in Table Table). They were super-accommodating to our large group (circa 30 guests). We will be back to Liverpool; we'll stay here!

I have stayed in Premier Inns all over the country and this one beats all of the others hands down. Amazing staff - friendly, professional and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble, I was given an email address in advance so that I could arrange a group booking. pre-orders for food were taken (no mistakes, despite there being vegans and veggies in the mix!!) and delivered bang on reservation time. The hotel was clean, quiet and really quite beautiful from the outside - looked more like a country hotel than a budget hotel. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay so good.

The location, close to train/bus for the city centre but convenient for the motorway, was perfect for what we were doing. Plenty of parking. Nice building and the adjoining pub had a large garden which was nice. Our receptionist, Claire, was very friendly and helpful, with lots of local knowledge that made our travel to the city much easier. Room was comfortable, just what we needed. Shower was a good size and freestanding (not a bath) which is good.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Roby except the night the Emma waitress who was very busy and shouted at us for coming in and standing in the wrong place, we entered via the hotel and not the front door so missed the waiting sign, we then made some requests whilst ordering which made her flustered and she said in a raised voice - STOP i do not understand- there were people on 2 tables nearby. We should have complained but to be honest were so embarrassed that we just felt like problem customers and wanted to get out as fast as possible - all the other staff were lovely, it just made us wish we hadnt have booked meal deals or we would have eaten elsewhere. I have still rated high as all other staff were amazing.
