We had high expectations from the highly positive reviews and the gracious email interaction with Virginie during the reservation process. The manor is beautiful, conveniently located and truly evocative of what it is - a family run Chateau. Unfortunately it fell short on a few counts. Emeric and Virginie were a bit distracted because a visit by 4 wine buyers...

Dear Dilip, It has been a very busy week! We do apologize for not being able to spend all the time you were expecting from us. As a matter of fact, we'll improve our schedule in such time. You are always welcome at Tournefeuille. All our best. Emeric and Virginie.

Perfect location to explore the Pomerol and saint Emilion areas. This was our last stay before heading back to Bordeaux city with our bikes. Fantastic wine area where you easily can spend several days for wine exploring. The B&B felt really luxury although the breakfast could be more interesting. Interesting tour in the winery and we bought some wines as...

We stayed here two nights and found this an excellent place, and all nine of us highly recommend it. Valerie and Emetic are a charming couple (with five children!), and they run the hotel very efficiently with lots of charm and good humour . Their manoir is very nicely decorated, and has lots of space. Room 5 on the top...

We spent two days in this gorgeous chateau near St. Emilion. The pictures do not do it justice - the scenery, the rooms, the ambiance are all wonderful. The hosts, Virginie and Emeric, could not be more charming. Our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it very easy to prepare your meals if you choose...

Chateau Tournefeuille is an elegant manor set amongst the vines of the winery owned by delightful hosts, Virginie and Emeric. Breathtakingly beautiful inside and out. Large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated rooms each have a private bathroom. Guests share the ground floor living room, kitchen and outdoor seating areas that include chairs and tables that call to guests to sit down,...

This Chateau is a working winery, but can be rented either as a B & B by the room, or, as we did, as a gite where we took the whole 6 rooms and had the use of the kitchen, dining room, living areas and laundry. The rooms are fabulous, we had one on the top floor with a bathtub...

Château Tournefeuille is an amazing place to visit. Virginie and Emeric, owners of the château, are very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very comfortable. After driving around the St-Emilion region and visiting many other châteaus, my husband and I came to a conclusion that Château Tournefeuille is the best one to be: located on the...

We rented the chateau with several friends and had a lovely overnight stay there. The view is beautiful, the rooms decorated with taste - and the wine excellent ! We recommend a little jogging the next morning, which took us around prestigious vineyards amongst which Petrus, La Conseillante or L'Evangile.

Two nights here in Lalande de Pomerol, Tournefeuille is a lovely property. Rooms have 14' ceilings, traditional furnishings, and a loft available, as well as several sleeping arrangements suitable for business or families. Breakfast is delivered by a baker in the morning, fresh baguette and croissant, delightful and simple. Beautiful views from the hills overlooking the grand commune of Pomerol,...

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Tournefeuille. We joined our friends there and made it our base for 3 days of touring the area. The house is perfect; a large house set in the gorgeous vineyards of Chateau Tournfeuille itself and looking beyond to the AOCs of St-Émilion and Pomerol. All the rooms in the house are large, comfortable...

“My room was the Rose room, a corner room, it has a large bathroom adjacent to it, and across the hall a suite with two twin beds, so a family of four can stay in this section with privacy. Rooms are vast!”
