A one night stay en route to Spain, we were greeted with a warm welcome on our arrival and shown to our well appointed clean room. I think the hosts are very sociable and friendly, the food was top quality and as a wine buff I found the wine list interesting offering good quality local wines. A second night stay...

This is a wonderful location if you want to relax in a beautiful, luxurious and almost stately house right on the Canal du Midi. My husband and I stayed here in the gite attached to the house for a week. Roland and George run a most beautiful place to stay and they run the place in the most wonderful way....

This place is simply beautiful. The owners are super friendly and opened. Few rooms but with amazing space and confort, decoration it's super nice and charm. We took also the dinner in the garden, it's highly recommended even it's not cheap, but it' s worthy. The landscapes near are awesome and you can ride bikes that they borrowed to us....

We have visited this wonderful Chambres de Hote seven times in 6 years. Roland and George have create a peaceful haven at the Chateau, classical music plays, rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and large very clean bathrooms. Roland creates delicious dinners, and George produces the scrumptious desserts. As there are no restaurants nearby, I would recommend having dinner...

What a gem to find near Carcassonne.! This is a very special place & we are so glad we did. The warmth of welcome is so genuine & you are made to feel very comfortable throughout your stay. We so enjoyed the peace & quiet after our hectic journey & the food was a sheer delight. As a Chef myself...

We stayed here for 5 days in July, and loved it. George and Roland take very good care of their guests, going that extra mile to make them feel welcome. We were in the gite which is attached to the house, but breakfast was still provided (thank goodness, the homemade jams were scrumptious. It's changed my way of eating croissants!)...

We approached the Chateau from the Canal side, having walked along the Canal du Midi and after a quick phone call, Roland and another lovely man who was wearing a Welsh Dragon apron (we live in Wales) came to welcome us and unlock the gates. From that moment on our stay could not have been improved upon. The building and...

Our second time at this beautiful house - first time was two years ago - it is still as good as ever. Friendly welcome from George and Roland. Classical music playing in the background. Comfortable room. Excellent evening meal. Cannot praise enough.

The house is beautiful - the decor is fabulous and the exterior is lovely. George and Roland are great - informal, attentive and charming. The house backs onto the Canal du Midi - they have a gate onto the towpath and a selection of bikes of different shapes and sizes, all in good condition which you can borrow. A highlight...

First class accommodation and excellent hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Château. The proximity to the Canal Du Midi lends itself to walks along the canal and gentle boat watching. The house has a great ambience with large well equipped rooms that are very tastefully decorated. There is a feeling of space in the house and this is...
