We have gone to Grand Cayman for 11 years now. We have stayed at many places on the island but still love the The Reef the most. The staff is wonderful, it is quite and relaxing. They have water sports available through White Sands, there are several restaurants in easy walking or driving distance. The beach is lovely. There is...

My wife and I just wrapped up a great five-night stay at the Reef Resort. Our most significant issue was that our stay was too short. The Reef Resort is located in a great, semi-secluded setting on the East End of Grand Cayman. If you are into throngs, shopping, and cities, this location probably isn't for you. But, if you...

My family of 6 stayed here for 8 days and had a relaxing and wonderful time. We will be back again next year if not sooner. The resort is on the east end of the island but a world away from 7 mile beach. You will find yourself in a casual environment on a beautiful beach with fantastic snorkeling right...

The reef was a full service resort on a beautiful beach with lovely rooms, The staff was friendly and helpful. You will need a car as the taxis are extremely expensive. There is a dive store, snorkel store, and day trip planner right on the grounds who are very helpful. The eastern end of the island is much more relaxing...

Our family of four (which includes a 17-year old and a 22-year old) had a terrific February week vacation, staying at The Reef. The 2-bedroom suite was perfect for us, as the kids had their own bedroom and bathroom and we had plenty of space to spread out in, with our bedroom unit featuring a spacious kitchen with all necessary...

We were pleasantly surprised by this resort. Photos on line don't do it justice! We were a group of four--two couples--and It was very comfortable with plenty of space to "hang" when you have had enough sun. It was at full capacity while we were here but never felt crowded like so many resorts can, there is a beach chair...

The hotel was awesome. The snorkeling was incredible. The assortment of and colors of fish was unbeleivable. We saw lobsters. We found sea glass in assorted colors. We have shells and the coral was amazing. part of the beach was coral while the other parts had sandy bottom. There was plenty of water sports to choose from. Walking on the...

We stayed at The Reef on the East end and I'm so glad we did! This was truly the most relaxed, pristine and beautiful part of the island. Snorkeling was fantastic and we often had entire beaches to ourselves. Can't wait to come back!!

I traveled with my 18 year old son as a senior year trip. We had a beautiful unit with modern appliances and comfortable furnishings. The staff was accommodating, and the cleaning service very welcome! The island itself is pricey, but we made the most of it by eating breakfast and fixing lunch in our unit, so we generally only ate...

We stayed here Jan 27-feb3 2013. I can't believe the reports of difficult staff, the problem must have been the patron. The staff were extremely helpful. Thank you Jake, Allen, Rocky, et al Snorkeling - disappointing. It was too windy for good snorkeling on all but one day in the week we stayed here (apparently the windy season for this...
