I've been here a couple times already and I found this time its quality went down.

We were there for dinner. I wanted to try something coming with dumpling but the waiter mentioned it was all gone as the day was busy so he offered potatoes instead. Later I saw other people eat different dumpling made of potato.

I was with Slovak speakers so this is not something that would happened to non-native speaker. The waiter could pause a second to think alternatives instead of offering boring potato.

Food itself was not impressive sadly.

Only had food at the Saris Park Restaurant.
Food of a very good quality, especially the traditional dishes. Reasonable prices, service could improve a bit and shame for the smoking being allowed at the terace dining section - outside eating experience spolied for the non-smokers.

Saris Park is located just across the street from the beermaker Saris, which has a famous trademark of monk drinking beer. They offer beer as well as traditional Slovak food matching beer!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0ari%C5%A1_Brewery

They also offer accommodation and spa services. Surrounding area is a gem to Presov suburb and you can hike and ride horses nearby.

Enjoy visiting the place whenever I have an opportunity since it is a stone away from parents's house.

While I haven't stayed in the hotel (a bit far from the center of town unless you have a car), I've eaten at the restaurant a few times and been to special events that they've organized. The food is good, straightforward and well-priced -- it might not be the most innovative or creative food, but it's consistent and I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there. The service is also very professional, and it's in a just-rustic-enough dining room setting.

Nice areal with rooms, wellness, pool, bar and restaurant. Room was very clean, restaurant as well, all staff were very friendly and kind, except receptionist. She was very busy and rude and didn't help me to find what needed. Food is delicious and portions are quite big.

In the mid of July we organized family lunch in the restaurant for 14 adults and 12 kids. We booked the restaurant about two months before the event and we were able to get only Sunday lunch time booking (Saturday was already booked for a wedding). It seems that this is a busy place and booking for bigger company must be made ahead.
Menu can be booked over the internet. Lady in charge is nice and she called us back immediately we sent out our mail request. Restaurant keeps a special menu for larger groups so the final choice depends from the budget one has. After the menu was agreed, confirmed and 30 EUR deposit was paid, we did not hear from the restaurant until the day before the event, when we called to confirm and bring our own cakes and soft drinks to the site. Restaurant serves a starting toast and starting bottles of water. Party can then use their own drinks and serve themselves. I think it is very nice possibility to bring own drinks and cakes and it can save lots of money especially in worm weather.
Disadvantage about the 30 EUR deposit is, that somebody must bring the money in person. Option to send it via bank transfer was not offered. In such case, nearby family living close to the restaurant may come helpful.
Food is delicious and it has both local Slovak as well as international options. Person serving us was nice, willing and professional. Fridges for the cakes and drinks are available.
We chose this place as it is also kids friendly with attractions witch help to entertain kids.

Project of Saris park was really good idea. It is located between Sabinov and Presov exactly in heart of our wonderful region. I’ve been here several times. Main and surrounding buildings were built in old style. I am sure that you can rent there room or whole cottage. Food here is really amazing. I visit this place always when I am home. They have a lot of variation of typical and traditional Slovak food. I always try something from my child years. Food is good as from grandmother. Interior is decorated very nicely, typically for our region. Staff wear nice dresses. You feel like in 19th century. I strongly recommend this place. It is worth of your visit. Prices are low, food is tasty, atmosphere is unique.
