The resort is set in a beautiful garden and has a very soothing atmosphere. The beach and the turquoise water are amazing for a relaxing vacation. Very friendly and helpful staff, even though some did not speak English at all which made things difficult at times. The rooms were clean and comfy. We had a family room where the kids had their small but separate bedroom. Dinners were of very high quality, but our french-fry-eating, ketchup-slurping kids sometimes had a problem to find something they liked on the menu. They loved the desserts, however ;) The location of the hotel is a bit secluded, so for those who plan to make trips, count on extra budget for taxi to Tropea (50-70€ round trip). Overall, I can recommend.
Astonishing experience! If u come to visit here, u definitely can't miss it: a wonderful tour with bikes organised by Hitinero! The best way to combine a splash into the wild nature with a deep dive into the culture, history, food, the geography as well and all the heritage of this beautiful land! The guide is great, u will learn so many things that u ll be surprised and she will drive u through this amazing experience, and ye! The new generation bikes with assisted pedaling will make everything more cool. It was the first time for both of us and we had a lot of fun! Go and try, u ll love that! Alessandro and Blasco
This hotel was very nice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, plus they are English speaking which is very practical. The rooms are very clean and have big storage space for clothing ( which is excellent). Then the very big plus of this place is that they have a beach which is 5 feet away from the restaurant. Just amazing and a highly recommended hotel 👏
Booked last minute a standard room for 2 adults. We hadn’t included our 2 year old son in the booking as we generally just pay an additional breakfast upon arrival if the hotel charges this at all - very rarely in fact - however upon arrival, we were forced to upgrade to a triple room for €30 extra on top of €150 room rate to have an additional bed for our son when we informed them he would sleep between us. We didn’t even use the additional bed because we would have needed a barrier for him as he would have rolled off the bed during the night given his constant movements throughout his sleep. Never has a hotel forced an upgrade on us, and we have stayed at plenty of hotels, and I’ve worked in numerous 5* hotels worldwide without such policy. If they had said an additional €5-10 for breakfast, then ok, but €30 for an additional bed we didn’t even use or want is bad policy. Also, after settling into the room, they didn’t bring a 3rd set of towels. So much for paying extra. Aside from the above, the hotel room is no frills... just the basics, nothing more, however their welcome jam was a very nice gesture. The bed is quite decent too. Their facilities are plentiful: kids playground, tennis courts, table tennis - although why they don’t have a waterproof cover so people can play during wet weather is strange - decent gym, outdoor pool - pool ladder in need of maintenance as it is loose, steps lean to one side and have no grip - outdoor shower facilities, and of course great access to the beach with plenty of beds. I’d recommend bringing water shoes as it is rocky when entering the water. Breakfast was great and plentiful in selection, and the service, friendly. They had prepared breakfast cards to complete in following Covid guidelines after which the waiters would bring you your order. Overall, the hotel would be enjoyable for families or even couples, and weather permitting, the facilities and beach access would be even more enjoyable. …
very nice resort well maintained in a beautiful garden. Good accomodations and restaurants - well organised.especially in this Covid-19 period. Friendly staff. Best resort in the region of Capo Vaticano.
