A wonderful boutique hotel, small and family run, with Ceylan always ready to help, with an extremely rich and tasty breakfast (you just chose where to sit, on the terrace, in the garden or on the balcony close to your room, and it is served by smiling and extremely caring people). 5 min walking distance away from the best restaurant on the island and 10 min walking distance from a small and pittoresche harbour with restaurants all around it. 5 min drive away from Gokceada town, with all the services you need. We could very easily reach every beach in the island with a max 1/2 hr drive through wonderful mediterranean landscapes and views. A wonderful stay, we will come back!
Beware - the staff said the rude woman that everyone has been complaining about is actually the manager/owner so there is nothing that will fix these issues! Bathroom was dirty also no beverage service, no kettel and glasses in rooms. it was a big regret to go there. grand malheur!
I have experienced such a lovely and relaxing vacation in the castle boutique hotel. The room was amazingly clean, they served such a great variety of breakfast and location was quite ideal in the top of the village facing the mountain and city view. I wish I would be go back again this summer.
Excellent place to stay with your family . Nature , view, weather, stone healthy buildings , tasteful Breakfast with mountain view, behind Thé historical castle you feel as a villager , natural beaches of gokceada imbroz must be seen as soon as possible
This rustic hotel is run with care and excellence. The stone buildings, along with the well cared plants brings a wonderful, relaxing harmony. The ruins of an old castle behind the hotel provides a view over the below village as well towards the sea and a nearby island. The hotel is run by a lovely family, who are always present, truly warm and attentive. You truly feel a guest rather than a client, while your privacy is always ensured. Totally recommended!
Wonderful location . beautiful landscape. Very nice idea to serve breakfast in front of each room on the balcony.Very nearby popular caffee shops ( Mustafa Kayfe ) , restaurants ( Eleni fish restaurant ) .Its better to come Gokceada by car since island is very big and beaches are quit away from each other, not a walking distance. Don't forget to taste "mantı " at Ecem Mantı and special meatballs at "Merkez Restaurant ".Last amazing thing about island is mineral water that you can find on the fountains located all around the small villages. Fresh , cold and sweet.....
This B&B is one of the better places to stay on the island. The owners are quiet and not very engaging, but the place is well kept. Breakfast is a feast, lunch and dinner is not served. Rooms are clean, but cleaned daily. Overall, nice, but not a must-stay option.
We stayed a weekend in September 2014 in Gökçeada and chose to stay in The Castle Hotel. It clearly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean and the breakfast best what we have got is Turkey so far. It's up in the hill and views are great (not sea though).
Last week we spent 4 days in Gökçeada and stayed in the Castle Hotel-Kaleköy that is run by Yıldız family. The location of the Hotel is excellent, just near the walls of the old castle walls and close to Yıldız Bay for swimming (15 min. walk). Although it is located in quite place on top of the hill, by walking downhill in 10 minutes you are in the colorful harbor of Kaleköy, famous for it's fish restaurants and bars. Owners of the Hotel, Rookie and Sadie are very kind couple willing to help their guests. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. In late September we are planning to be there again.
