More of a bed and breakfast than a hostel. Basic comfortable bunk room with large shared lounge and kitchen. Friendly welcome and good hot breakfast to send us on our way. No really close place to eat dinner so we ordered in pizza which was excellent. Overall very clean and comfortable and would definately stay again.

This place is unexpectedly charming and much nicer than I expected. Granted I was there the very end of Sept and had the place to myself, but I could see it would be a fun and cosy place to stay particularly for young people or families. Paula gave me the room right next to the kitchen where I could make...

This is a nice hostel with friendly owners. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen and TV rooms are pleasant. We paid £60 for a private en-suite room which I think is possibly £5-£10 more than it should be. Towels are provided

Our penultimate nights accommodation while walking the wall and a superb choice; comfy beds, filling breakfast and spotlessly clean. Paula the owner is a chatty delight. A real find after a long days walk from Chollerford

Arrived a little later than planned after walking from Newcastle. Immediately felt at home thanks to friendly welcome and helpful advice. Comfortable room and common area. Delicious breakfast (with vegemite option!) the next morning with enthusiastic, barrel-shaped dogs for company.

A fantastic find. Stayed in a two bed room which was modern, clean and comfortable. Showers were clean and hot and clean flannels were provided. Excellent kitchen area to cook your own meals in the evening with all utensils provided. Paula makes a great breakfast in the morning and provides excellent local knowledge. Will be back in the area soon...

The accommodation is faultless. Lovely comfortable mattresses !!!!!! Just what you need when you've been walking all day. Brilliant !!!!!
