Called in here, without pre-booking a table. We were seated immediately and our drinks were brought over to our table. There was plenty of meaty...

The Plough has been practically on our door step for years and we had never been in. Decided to go out for a mid week meal once the Xmas busy time had past and found it to be a pleasant place to eat. Nice environment, not too busy, good staff and nice food. Will probably make this a more regular...

Came for a Monday lunch here with a friend. No one in the restaurant all the time we were there 12.15 - 2.20! It's December but no Christmas meals or work lunches?? As the place was empty it felt a bit chilly. Nevertheless the service was pleasant and the food delicious. I had the salmon and my friend the catch...

The staff were very friendly and helpful and their service was really good. The food was typical pub grub but was well cooked and well presented. Prices were reasonable and the...

As someone who seems to find it easier to write a critical review than a complimentary one I now find myself in the unusual position of taking the time to sing the praises of the Plough Inn. Without going into unnecessary detail our visit was a joy. Food was of a very high standard - service excellent by the two...

We had an evening meal here as we were staying at a nearby caravan park, it was midweek so the place was quiet, and we arrived at 7.45 pm we were told we were just in time. We very much enjoyed our evening of October 8th 2016. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We found the building very impressive and the art gallery was a real bonus.

Visited with my husband on Tuesday 4th October for steak night whilst staying in the area, we had the rib eye steaks and they were amazing I can honestly say they were 2 of the best steaks we have had, and the portion sizes were very really generous. It was very busy understandably with the quality of food they are...
