I stay in lots of accommodation all over the UK for business purposes and it is mostly average at best. The Old Ship was friendly and provided a great value-for-money base for my...

Great rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for 3 nights whilst on a course in Ashington. Very modern bedroom, king bed and always warm room with great views as shown in pictures. Had breakfast as well which was very nice and all at good value 👍

A great place for a stopover, right on the seafront with excellent views. The room itself was really nice and clean, providing everything you need at a great price. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be back.

The staff here are lovely, made me feel very welcome. Pub had great atmosphere from outset and then there was a local ukelele group inn which added to nice atmosphere. Car park roomy, place easy to find, well located for shops, eateries and beach. Bed very comfy rooms very spacious, shower very powerful & warm.
