On a recent trip to Poland, where in ten days we stayed in six difference hotels, out first stop was the Hotel Atena in Ciechanow; this proved to be a wonderful selection. The rooms in this hotel are clean and adequately furnished, free wifi is provided, and the breakfast provided with the room rate was excellent. In addition to having...

Ciechanow isn't exactly a metropolis, so hotel options are limited, but you'd be hard pressed to beat this place. It's not exactly central, but it's not far from the center of the town, and it's nice. The hotel staff is friendly, which can be a rarity in a country not renowned for customer service. The rooms are small, but nice,...

The rooms are big and the private bathrooms are extremely clean. The speed of wifi connection is high (excellent for job). The breakfast is...

If you are looking for a nice hotel in the middle of Ciechanow, Hotel Atena is a good option. The only down side was that the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) was closed (06/2015) for renovation and nothing was posted on the hotel's website. The complementary breakfast was tasty and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated with big skylights (at...

Business trip I had a 2 weeks trip to Ciechanow for business. The hotel was the best in town, where I told. The room I had was located above the kitchen I think; there was a terrible noise early in the morning when the staff came in. The restaurant…. Well, in the presentation of the hotel on the website, it...

We enjoyed out time at Hotel Atena. We were helped with all of our needs. Guided to nice sightseeing, the castle had just reopened after renovations. Found the local brewery (honey mead is the best!) We came back to the hotel and had a hot and tasty meal. All around a good place.
