The Hinds Head is a charming place, good atmosphere with welcoming staff. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my sandwich at lunchtime. It was expensive and nothing special, certainly not worth the money. I visit many pubs with my walking group and and this one was a real let down.

Accommodation is excellent, the room I stayed in was large and theming for the hotel is very well done. The whole hotel was clean and well presented with some excellent ales as well Overall this hotels well worth staying at if your in the area I would certainly use this hotel again.

Warm welcome with great service and clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend this to people if you need a place to stay. Fairly pride and decent food to order.Ideal location from the wedding chapel down the road.

Well refurbished establishment in a good location, let down by basic customer service and poor staff. Could and should have been much better, total disorganisation from the start of our visit to the end

If you're fed up with the plastic modern hotels of major chains, this is for you. The Hinds Head is still the social centre of Aldermaston village, with a number of comfortable rooms for guests. The bedrooms particularly went through a major much needed refurb about a year ago, each one being fitted with a modern shower suite to replace... More

We came to England for a wedding. We had an excellent time thanks to the helpful staff at Hind's Head and the wonderful accommodations. The room was pristine, and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with so many excellent choices, the staff was warm and friendly. We loved our dinner by the fire, overall a memorable stay.

Loved my stay at The Hind's Head the night before my daugher's wedding at Wasing Park in November. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent, a good choice of everything. My bed was so comfortable and room very clean indeed.

A well located pub with very comfortable rooms (hence the very good rating). Inexperienced staff but friendly and hard-working. Poor wine selection to compliment the average pub grub. Breakfast was very good (different chef to that who served supper?). Good selection of house and guest ales.
