We stayed for one evening after a long drive and visit to Monkey World, we were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, Colin and Liz were superb hosts, the grounds are just stunning. The only comment would be more of the lovely breakfast pls, liz's homemade bread was gorgeous made even more stunning...

My partner and I stayed here for one night whilst visiting Wareham Golf Club.Colin and Liz were wonderful hosts who are extremely knowledgeable about the local area.Our room was spacious with quality bedding,coffee making facilities as well as a fridge.Afternoon tea is delicious with home made scones and preserves,all made by Liz.A wonderful stay.Thank you both.

Stayed here for A visit to monkey world we was made welcome from the start very nice room realy clean and comfy bed a very nice garden where you can sit and chill watch the ducks very handy for lulworth cove Poole and Weymouth

This is a very nice, clean and friendly place to stay at in Wool. The Hosts are very helpful and have a genuine interest in their guests which make you feel very much at home. The garden surrounding the house is very beautiful and the cute ducks in the pond was an extra plus. It is walking distance to Monkey...

Stayed here with friends 18th Oct. this is the 2nd time we have been there. Liz and Colin are brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. Would like to keep this as our secret but must be fair to others and share Fingle Bridge with everyone. Liz and Colin are wonderful hosts who will go out of their way to make your stay special. The beds are really comfortable, the position is great for visiting much of Dorset and breakfasts, including gluten free options if requested...

Fingle Bridge is a detached house set in a 1/2acre plot on the edge of the village of Wool. It's location on a private drive with ample off-road parking provides a peaceful setting for you to enjoy our large garden. There are chickens in the orchard and ducks on the stream which borders the garden.We have 2 rooms available. Bedroom 1 is a large family room with a super-king double bed,2 full size singles and 2 reclining chairs to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. There is also a table and 2 dining chairs.Bedroom 2 has a super-king double (which can be divided to provide twin accommodation). This room also has a small table & 2 dining chairsBoth rooms are en-suite with full size bathrooms and equipped with a free-view TV with DVD player, a hairdryer. a small fridge containing chilled water and fresh milk, and a microwave should you wish to eat in.There is a seating area on the landing equipped with brochures, local guides and maps, and books for your enjoyment.Free wifi is available.Breakfast is served in our dining room which has patio doors on to the stream-side terrace.We serve a range of cereals, a full English breakfast and homemade bread, jams and marmalade, tea and coffee.There are 2 local pubs offering evening meals both within walking distance. ... more   less
