A very nice set up in the middle of the Karoo, any detail of the lodge is well set and the whole set up fits perfectly into the landscape. The team was excellent with grate hospitality and made the stay to a real pleasure. What we enjoyed was the absolute quietness, no man made noise and a beautiful clear sky...

We had a very pleasant stay at this five star lodge. Unfortunately we were unsettled on our arrival as the road to the lodge was very difficult to navigate with our two luxury motor vehicles which had low profile tires and not suitable for the long and extremely narrow and bumpy drive. Do take this into account when choosing which...

We were 30 cyclists staying over the night before the TransBaviaans cycle race. Beautiful setting. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Unfortunately not sufficient planning regarding food menu. Ran out of certain foods during supper. Also limited liquor menu. Don't agree with 5-star rating. Would rather agree with 3-star.

Pieter and Herna run a first class game lodge. They and their staff are first rate and the food was amazing. We saw game on each of our drives, after which we were treated to sundowners and a wonderful brai (barbecue) or meal. The accommodations are very comfortable and well appointed. When we return to South Africa next, we will...

Thank you to all the staff and management of Zandibela. My wife and i had a fantastic time with you. The rooms are comfortable, clean, well spaced out with a beautiful view. We saw many game species and enjoyed our game drive through the area. Zandibela is perfectly situated whether you are heading into or coming out of the Baviaanskloof....

From the heartwarming reception we received on our arrival, we knew we were in for a blissfull week. Lee, Archie and the rest of the staff were outstanding. Helpfull, accommodating and always smiling, they treated us like royalty. Lee, Nadia and auntie Souz cooked up a storm in the kitchen, from the three course dinners too the warm sandwiches packed...

A beautifully situated and designed lodge with eight huts. The huts are well decorated and with enough distance to make you feel alone. Built around a dam, the lodge allows for sightings without leaving the pool area or your hut. Danie, the game ranger, was fantastic and exceeded our requests. Saw plenty of game and the terrain was diverse with...

We spent 2 days at Zandibela towards the end of September and all I can say is I wish we could have stayed for a week. The accommodation is beautiful, the food hearty and delicious and the atmosphere perfect. Simply it is a great place to get away from it all and just relax - completely.

“no room is far from the main centre. all overlook the water-hole from their private balconies. staff are keen to ferry you around in an oversized golf buggy so no need to worry about getting wet if it rains.”
