Nice friendly welcome. First impressions count and wow - the room was fantastic. Fresh, clean, spacious. A modern, sassy bathroom with the what I can only describe as the best shower I've ever used. The breakfast was superb. Cooked, cereals & yoghurts amongst the selections. I would happily pay more than the amount we paid. An absolute bargain. Quiet surroundings...

Visited for one night only whilst visiting the Warner Edwards Distillery and the Tollemache Arms that are both just a couple of minutes walk away. We stayed in one of the suites that are located in converted farm buildings attached to a working farm. The rooms were plainly decorated with high ceilings. The heating system was very effective and everything...

The owners were very helpful when booking, and most accommodating when I changed my booking. Greeted by the owner who was friendly and advised us where to eat locally etc .. The room was ready to check into at midday, and we were pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the Appledon Suite. Personally I found the room a little...

Stayed here for two nights 21/22 January. Loads of character, peaceful, friendly people running it, and probably one of the best breakfasts ever! PS if planning on eating in The Tolly over the road book - the food is great and they get busy.

Chose here as was visiting the nearby gin distillery and didn't want to drive and was really pleased with the whole set up. The rooms are in converted stables and are well presented and supplied. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was clean and the bed comfortable. The rooms are very quiet and you cannot hear your neighbours...
