Had a lovely meal here and a very nice pint. Had myself a burger and chips, which was very tasty. The pub has a traditional interior, warm and inviting, and a back garden for the sunny days :) for the ghost hunters, the pub has been said to be haunted :)

Room was clean, well equipped and comfortable - breakfast service was appalling the next day, on walking through garden to restaurant saw what appeared to be loo roll coming out of drain. Restaurant area was full on arrival at 9am got told to... More

We visited last sunday, three of us plus one 9 month old boy who was given a high chair. The cavery was excellent, tender meat ( i had beef and pork) excellent choice of vegetables including cauliflower cheese and mashed swede to name but a few. Crackling, yorkshire pudding, chipolatas and stuffing balls all lovely complimented by very good gravy.... More

Lovely hotel, very quiet at night, staff were very helpful when we got there. The rooms were very clean and spacious, good powerful shower. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Canterbury and it's only a few minutes in a cab from the town centre. Thank you

It was a treat to go into the bar occupied by locals and the busy restaurant served great food - with plenty of variety. The rooms in the purpose built "converted" barn were comfortable with plenty of hot water and the shower easy to operate without spectacles. The decor in my room would benefit from a lick of paint and... More

We stayed for two nights at this little typish British inn. Great rooms, clean and neat. Lovely choise of breakfasts included. The pub offers very good value lunchmenues, and have very good choises for dinner as well, all in a very good athmosphere. A few minutes drive from Canterbury.

We have just returned from another excellent weekend staying at the charming Evenhill Inn. The Inn's accommodation of 15 rooms are in a converted barn which are away from the road and any noise from the pub. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. The en-suite bathroom contains a bath with a good shower... More

This is the second time we have eaten here. It's a lovely cosy restaurant . All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is lovely and well presented of a really good quality. My only complaint is the catch of the day had run out so I ended up eating the same main as the previous visit. Good value... More

This is a pub with rooms in a converted building at the rear and away from the road. We have a dog and the place is dog friendly. Our room was very well appointed and clean. It boasts free internet and air conditioning. We booked over the phone and the chap could not have been more helpful. Check in was... More

The food at this restaurant is particularly good. Freshly cooked and all sourced locally. Service is extremely friendly and staff very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but there is some noise at night and in the early morning from doors slamming; maybe the closures need adjusting. Overall, I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for its excellent food and... More
